Works well with macbook
It served the main purpose of an external monitor connectivity for my macbook pro. However, the USB C jack seemed a fit in a tad too firmly. The hub has other ports which I'll likely not use, so they only contribute to making the gadget a bit bulky and awkward, and somewhat reducing the mobilty of the laptop.
