Pure Earth Products Equine GutFlush, 4-Ounce

We have owned horses for almost 40 yrs now, which means we have been through nearly a dozen colic surgeries. Some of the colic surgeries were over $10,000, one was over $14,000; so we are always looking for healthy "first sign of colic" remedies to keep on hand. I purchased two of these bottles to keep on hand, one for each of the horse properties 3 hrs drive apart. I thought it was a bit of a gamble because this stuff is not cheap ($60 - $83 for a 4oz. bottle) [Amazon has the lowest price I have found and the fastest shipping with Prime]. As horse owners know, with equine colic, you don't have days to save a horses life, you have HOURS! Yesterday morning, I was so glad we had a bottle of Gut Flush sitting on the shelf (3 year shelf life) -- I had a 31 yr old Saddlebred gelding and a 36 yr old mule (both precious old buddies) show first signs of colic from summer hay (the alfalfa must have had some mold in it, even though I couldn't smell the mold). You are supposed to use the full 4oz. for one horse, I didn't have that luxury -- I had two down at the same time. I gave the small mule one ounce and the larger horse, showing more significant signs of colic, the last three ounces (and crossed my fingers). Within 45 min - 1 hour, I saw symptom relief. Within about 3 hours everything was back to normal. Whew!! Appetite and water consumption were restored, urination and pooping seemed right on track again. I don't know where we would be today without the Gut Flush, but I definitely saw symptom relief within a reasonable time frame in two precious old guys. Really glad I had this on hand. I'm ordering more to have on hand.

My mare colics fairly easily. Had to use this is August when temperatures soared and well meaning neighbors decided to feed her a bunch of apples... I caught the colic right away and gave her the Gutflush. She swallowed it like a champ - so it must have tasted yummy - and was better in about an hour. I purchased it again.

Saved my donkey from colic ,always keep a bottle on hand, and replace as soon as you use it.
