I like this installation method
I ordered this faucet for one room but ended up installing it in a room with a tighter space under the sink. This faucet makes installation really easy in tight spaces. I tried to install a Delta faucet in the same space but couldn't due to my cabinet wall being in the way of tightening the Delta from underneath. This faucet uses an innovate approach to mounting the faucet, and it took some learning, but it's really convenient and seems durable. Also it's a great looking faucet and sprays water out nicely. So far I'm happy with my purchase.

Great faucet at any price
The media could not be loaded. Update 2a: I did not put the restrictor back and the water force is very strong. I'm counting on the screen in the head to catch any debris which will be much better than waiting for the restrictor under the sink to totally clog and then would be unusable until the restrictor war removed. One additional thing is that you may get some dripping between the hose and head. Wraping teflon tape around the threads will solve that. Update 2: I'm still going to give this 5 stars, but I want to let folks know about two issues, one very minor and one that people should be aware of... The only minor complaint that I have about this faucet is that it doesn't do small adjustments. It goes from full on to off with very little transition from one to the other. In other words if full volume is 5 and off is 0, it goes 5-2-0 as opposed to 5-4-3-2-2-1-0. At least it goes on and off with little motion required. More importantly (good news and bad news) the feeder hose that goes to the spray head has a "quick connector". It's easy to get on and off but inside of it is the one of the flow restrictors. Ours got so clogged that the flow was reduced to a trickle. Kraus Customer service was excellent in making sure we got all the parts we needed including a new spray head and hose... but they didn't think to send the quick connectors which was the ultimate culprit. I wasn't sure how to clean out the connector so I thought I'd just run a pipe cleaner or paper clip or something through it even it I were to end up damaging the flow restrictor. Lo and behold the flow restrictor popped right out unexpectedly and I could see lots of debris in it. It probably makes a good filter to trap gunk, but you have to know what to do when it does (which I do now). But I don't think I'm going to put it back in as there is a screen filter at the back of the spray head. See video on improved flow without the restrictor. I've uploaded a photo illustrating the flow while clogged and after removing the clogged restrictor valve. BTW- it's a spring-loaded one-way valve.Update: One month after install... Everything I said previously still holds true. We got the Kraus faucet and sink and saved hundreds of dollars over comparable items of other more well known brands. There is nothing that feels cheap here. Everything functions smoothly as it should. If I didn't emphasize it before, this faucet is more easily installed than Kohler or Delta as the everything except for the connections is mounted from the top. Read the directions and it's an easy DIY install.Original review:If I told you I did a LOT of research on faucets, that would be an understatement. I knew it would be difficult to find a good faucet for under $200. I looked at Kohler, Delta, Moen and they all left me feeling "wanting". I bit my lip and grudingly (in my mind) decided that I'd increase my budget up to $400. So I did more research and took me to brands like Grohe and Hansgrohe. I thought we had decided on the Grohe Ladylux (based on our plumber's recommendation). Then I started reading reviews. There were little complaints, but things that shouldn't be when spending $400 for a faucet. The thing that got me turned off was (believe it or not) the reviews on the matching soap dispenser. Folks were saying it was great for hand lotion but choked on dish soap! What???? Yeah, they found work-arounds, but the darn soap dispenser was $60.Before considering faucets, we needed to get a stainless sink. We decided on the Kraus 100-30. It had great review and a reasonable price. It came and we were really impressed. So why not a Kraus faucet, I kept asking myself? If their sink was so well built, could the quality extend to their faucets? Yes. It does. While I had the plumber install it, I could have easily done it myself. We needed our whole drain system reconfigured in a 40 year old building which is the only reason for the pro. *IMPORTANT*. If you're like me and don't like reading instructions, the one thing you need to know is that after you install the mounting bracket/base, you have to remove the plastic insert which helps guide the flanges into place. You don't have to go under the sink to attach the base. Extremely clever design. Just pinch the two plastic tabs and pull it out. Then you feed your water lines in.Bottom line: This faucet competes in looks and quality to others costing twice as much.

Easy to install and has premium feel
The install into a new sink went well. The hoses do have a screen/seal so be careful not to loose them. The lines are not braided steel so they will kink if twisted so make sure to secure the line side when tightening the connection. Overall, the faucet has a smooth action and a nice finish. Time will tell if it will hold up.

) I replaced one of their better kitchen faucets with this one
This is a preliminary review; I can't speak of longevity. Just installed it!I know faucets. I used to write installation instructions for Briggs Plumbingware, now defunct (thank you, China.) I replaced one of their better kitchen faucets with this one, and I am impressed. It is a quality product. The instructions are adequate, although not great. There is a plastic insert that is thrown away, and this is never mentioned. Installation does require a 2.5 mm Allen wrench that was not included, although a larger one used another place was. Maybe an oversight, don't know.Installations is very easy. Most any DIYer will have no problems, and other than hooking up the water lines, everything is from the top--quite handy. Installing the mount and cover plate is done totally from the top and is very clever. Any plumber who has a problem with this should be sent home without his supper! It took more time to remove the old one than to put this one in. I did have one problem--the water lines were too short and I had to buy extensions. Actually the shutoff valves are mounted too low in this house, so I won't fault Kraus here. The lines are about 24" below the counter.Hints: Make sure the mounting set screw is loosened before fitting the main body. Don't tangle or twist the water lines, or the head may try to rotate when not in use. Have everything hooked up before you test.Since we have a shelf below the sink, the pull out return weight limits you to about 15" of pull out. Without a shelf, I think this could be increased to about 2'. The water flow is a little below spec, 1.4 gal/min (one gallon in 42 seconds) but our water pressure is set at 40psi, a little below most systems. The pull out returns better than about any I have seen, not having to be pushed back in or lined up. Delta with their magnetic head is the only one I have seen that does this better. The spray doesn't spread out a lot, a very close angle. That may be a plus or minus to you. Like any stainless appliance, cleaning must be gentle. It looks great! I think it should last, and all in all, this faucet is a great buy.
