I have bigger and sturdier tripods, but often I just want something small enough to toss in a daypack, tall enough to shoot over the safety railing of a pier or a friend's deck, and sturdy enough for a phone or lightweight camera in reasonably calm weather. This one fits that profile beautifully. Highly recommended for that use case! But if you want something that comes up higher, stands up to a gale, or holds a substantial camera with a long lens, this is not it.

造りがしっかりしており非常にコンパクトではありますが、以外と重さを感じます。足を伸ばした際に捻って固定するのですが以外と固定が面倒。余りにも小さいレベラーは役に立ちませんのでカメラ本体に表示されるグリッドでレベルを摂るといいでしょう。ただ、雲台はボールヘッド式で自由度があり便利です。小型のミラーレスでしたらレンズにもよりますが、十分対応出来ます。個人的には山登りには重さの関係で持ち歩きませんがハイキング等には重宝してくれそうです。

I needed a lightweight tripod that could fit in my backpack. This has been great. Highly recommended.

The small size is nice if you need to take it on an airplane or carry it around all day.I wouldn't use this tripod with anything heavier than a cell phone or a small point-and-shoot camera. It just isn't stable with anything larger.I found the ball head difficult to adjust to get the camera pointed correctly.
