Bought for a trip down under to ensure I didn't turn tomato red like a pom straight off the boat.Did what it was meant to do. Came back with no tan, no one even believed I'd been on holiday and argued that my photos were fake.Maybe too good.

The media could not be loaded. Firstly I'd decide what type of fit you would like when wearing this top. I normally wear a size large but I've learned from past experience to order a size up in some cases. With this top I ordered 2 sizes up. I got an XXL which fits me snuggly. Not overly tight but with just a little bit of flexibility around my mid section.The material is very silky, stitched well and of a 'wicking' quality. Wicking material allows your body to sweat but it doesn't absorb the sweat so you don't get big damp marks in areas were you would expect to get them if you're hot. It is designed to be worn whilst in water so I suppose the fact that it doesn't easily absorb water makes this top ideal for most water activities.This top is advertised as an under garment or base layer for you whilst wearing a wetsuit, in order to minimise rubbing/chaffing and I completely agree with the sellers statement. Because it is silky smooth on your skin, whilst wearing this underneath a wetsuit it'd help to do just that. I've worn mine whilst paddle boarding as its sun protection, 50+ UV rating provides me with comfort knowing that I'm covering my skin and keeping it away from harmful rays from the sun. Also, the top does look good. It's very stylish looking.It's definitely quick drying and lightweight and because it is so stretchy, your movement isn't inhibited when on the open water. I've washed mine at 40 degrees and it has dryed on my washing line in the sun (with a slight breeze) in under 3 hours. It has also retained it's colour and it's shape so this is another bonus.Because it is a good quality garment, I'd be surprised if I didn't get a few years wear out of it, so for this reason alone I will suggest that it is priced correctly and for me, is worth the asking price of £18.99.
