VERY NICE EBIKE!! SO FAR, SO GOOD!
I've had this bike for about a week now. Assembly was easy if you're comfortable with some simple tools. Took about 30 minutes. I used the installation video on the Amazon product web page. Very straightforward. The bike is on the heavier side at 65 lbs, but I wanted something more substantial than a small wheel kid's bike. I'm 67 years old, 6'-1", and about 230 lbs. We live at the bottom of a very steep concrete driveway, so the WALK feature pulls the bike along at a slow walk right up the driveway! Nice. I put the first 9 miles on the bike today mainly on paved roads with a few dirt road side excursions. The bike tracked true and was very easy to handle. One of the first things I checked were the brakes (duhhh). From 12 mph I did a sudden stop and it performed well. No unusual grabbing or squealing of the brakes. As for performance, all I can say is "WOW!!" This thing accelerates PLENTY fast for me. It sensed my pedaling right away and kicked right in. I took it up several 10% grade hills and it never flinched. It felt like I was pedaling up a 1% grade and the bike did the rest. For adults that don't want to have to worry about those dang hills but still enjoy getting out on your bike, this is the ticket. The shifting derailleur was smooth and appeared to be adjusted correctly. The 2.1" tires are nice for the dirt and gravel roads, too. After 9 miles, the battery level hadn't dropped at all! Pretty impressive. Again, I've only put 9 miles on it so far. But, so far, it appears to be a winner, certainly at this price point. I will update this review after I've had a chance to put a few hundred miles on it.UPDATE -- I now have put 35 miles on the bike. Stil very impressive for the money. However, the front disc brake is now squealing a bit when the brakes are applied. I'm going to attempt to adjust it myself. If this doesn't work, I will give support a call. Again, after 35 miles, I am very impressed with the handling and power. I will provide another update at 100 miles or so.

Great E-Bike for the price point.
Bike arrives in a very large heavy box that takes two people to carry. It is packed extremely well with heavy foam and zip ties to ensure things don't shift around in the box. Assembly takes about an hour and is very straightforward with all needed tools supplied. The bulk of the cables, gears, brakes and mechanical systems is already done. The manual of the bike is fantastic and written superbly in good english considering it's a Chinese bike. All parts and build of the bike look and feel very high quality. Very little tweaking and tuning is needed as I was able to go directly to riding it after assembly. After owning a regular Trek bicycle for years I would say ride quality of just the regular bicycle is on par with it, with the gear shifting and disc brakes performing excellent. After engaging the electronics the assist was impressive on just level 1. I live in a very rural environment with a dirt driveway that runs uphill and I was immediately propelled up the hill with just a light pedal. I'm 6' and 245 pounds. I was able to ride the bike on hilly country roads 20 miles with ease my first day. On full assist and with a slight downhill grade I was able to hit 36 MPH.Don't expect the bike to power you up the steepest hills at top speed but I could consistently stay at 15-18 MPH up a hill with light pedaling. One thing I noticed is that your top speed will be determined by the assist level. So if you have a light assist level set and press the throttle all the way in you'll only get a speed proportional to the assist setting.Battery life seems true to what is advertised as after 20 miles with a good bit of it on full assist I still had about 30-40% battery left. If assist is set conservative I can see getting 40 miles range or better even if you're a heavier person. Speaking of which you'll probably want a better seat or an add on pad for the seat, as for me it started to get uncomfortable after about 8 miles. That is really my only gripe with the bike but stock seats are usually that way so it's not a surprise. The tire size is a nice in between size from a street bike to a fat tire bike. Keep in mind fat tire bikes have more rolling resistance and less manuverability. So if you plan of riding long distances on roads you'll want the benefits of slimmer tires to get more range. Also keep in mind this bike doesn't have any front, rear or side reflectors. The headlight gives you some front reflectivity maybe but if you want reflectors you'll need to add them. The rear profile of the bike does not make it especially easy to mount lights or reflectors. In summary, for a bike with a price point under $1000 I really don't think you can go wrong here. The specs put it on par with similar bikes priced at double or triple the price. I know this bike will encourage me to get out and ride more and hopefully drop my weight pretty quick. I'm very pleased and will check back in and update this review should my experience change.UPDATE: I've put 350 miles on this bike and already lost 15 pounds! Loving this bike! PAS level 2 is the "sweet spot" that will give you a decent assist and tremendous range.

Beyond My Expectations.
Awesome bike. Assembling it was not that bad, just takes a little common sense, patience and it comes together real nice. Performance, wow. I got up to speed of at least 38 mph. The pedal assist is awesome, even without pedal assist it's awesome. I suffer with sciatica, bad back and bad knees. This bike is so easy to ride and you'll enjoy the ride. not struggling trying to get up a hill. this E-bike goes up hills like a bullet train. I was impressed beyond what I expected. And yes the brakes will squeak a little in the beginning. but that's completely normal. The same way when you get brand new brakes on a car, they squeak a little until they break in. once they break in everything is perfect, just got to be patient. As far as the price, its worth every cent. Completely satisfied and blew away my expectations....

32 miles and falling apart already
Battery has nowhere near the advertised range in any pedal assist mode, the front axle is a thin cheap piece of metal that has next to no structural integrity the headlight looks like something they would sell for 99 cents at harbor freight, the tires are low quality, I've put 32 miles on it and the pedal crank arm fell off of the bike and managed to cross thread it's bolt in the process. On top of that the front forks still have a 1" dip when locked and the preload adjuster is made of cheap plastic. I wasn't looking for a luxury bike or I would have spent a couple of thousand dollars but this bike is not worth the asking price. Save your money and buy a different bike.

Strong motor
Strong motor.. decent brakes. I had to get a new seat and also a handlebar riser, (I'm 6 foot 4). I also got a new seat riser with a spring in it which helps a lot. There is no rear shock on this bike. And if you're heavier like me, you can feel the big bumps in your back. Tires are good.... I wish this would have come in a step through mode. it's hard for me to clear the top bar when getting on the bike.
