Great Pie Iron
We recently purchased a fire pit and immediately wanted a Pie Iron to enjoy making treats around the fire, so purchased this one from Amazon. We love it! It works wonderful and so nice to do 2 pies at 1 time.

Handles Are Fairly Short
Haven’t used it yet, but the immediate disappointment was how short the handles. My old ones had longer handles to reach into the fire easier. That’s why it only gets a 3 star rating.

Pie iron
Very well made, sturdy and can be used to cook over the campfire for anything not just the pies. Well worth it

A different kind of pie iron.
The pie-iron has a nice big face for larger sandwiches. I think this leans more towards a stovetop panini press, than a campfire type of pie iron. The handles are short because of the weight of the iron. A longer handle would be extremely difficult to hold suspended over a fire.I think this is good for making sandwiches over a stovetop, setting on a cooking grate over a smaller fire, cooking on a camping stove, but I would not recommend it for hanging over a large fire.It's nice they provide extra handles in case one breaks.Its easy to clean, and I would treat it like a cast iron pan to season it and not use harsh chemicals or abrasives to clean it. I personally like this pie iron for certain uses.
