CLIP STUDIO PAINT EX - Version 2 | Perpetual License | for Microsoft Windows and macOS

I am an artist that has never used digital media, but I’ve heard great things about this program. I decided to give it a try and I have been learning about its capabilities on YouTube and through tutorials. I am not even halfway into learning everything it can do and I am amazed! This will allow me to really step my graphic design game up. User friendly and out of the world cool!

This software is great! It’s easy to install and I’m enjoying playing around with it. I’m still learning it and I have some background in similar software.. with that said, I think a beginner will need to watch some tutorials to get the hang of this. Overall, it’s a lot of fun and if you love to creat this typeOf content and have time to learn it, it’s def worth it.

This program is a bit out of my skill level, though if I sat and played around with it long enough, I could figure it out. Now my kids on the other hand seem to be pro's right out of the gate and seeing as I got it with them in mind, it's a win-win. There's really no limits to what you can come up with in this program, it's got everything you need to create amazing digital content, whether its a picture or full-on animation.

First of all, I am by no means an expert in using programs like Photoshop. I requested it with the intention of learning and putting it to good use for the charity I volunteer for, such as creating posters and images for invitations.It has been both fun and challenging as there is so much to learn. I've seen other people's artwork created with this program on YouTube, which has amazed me. By the way, it worked seamlessly on my Lenovo laptop running Windows.After trying it out several times at the charity office with fellow volunteers, I find that I am learning more each time I use it. However, I have only installed it on my laptop, which I bring in every time I volunteer. Now, I am contemplating whether I should have installed it on the office computer so that it can be accessed by all volunteers.I recently discovered on its website that I am allowed to install it on two devices by default, as long as I am the only person using it and only using it on one device at a time. I opted for the perpetual subscription option to explore the possibility of using it in the office setting. I plan to update my review after reaching out to support to figure out so that I don’t screw up with licensing. So far, this experience has been fascinating for someone like me who has never tried any Photoshop-like program before.

1- LOVE that this is a perpetual license and not subscription2- a lot of people recommend CSP and as a result there are a ton of tutorials and whatnot on youtubeI was already familiar with it for regular graphic design but the upgrade to the EX version gave me more options for animation so I dug into that as well. Overall I'm very happy with it. I did need to make an account to activate it and that process was a tad tedious but it should be a one-time thing and since it's tied to an account now hopefully I can't lose it the way I did with my video editing software the next time I update my computer - hopefully I should just be able to transfer the license over.For the record, I was using it with my XP Pen Artist 12 second gen, no issues with responsiveness and the settings in PenTablet ported over correctly without any problems.

A great tool for sketching and modeling poses for manga, manhwa, or any other digital media artists. It takes a while to figure out all that clip Studio has to offer, but it helps incredibly with efficiency in posing and perspective. Highly recommend!

Easy to learn as a beginner with creative software for comics. This was my first attempt and was able to use the lessons to get a good start.Software is easy to use and to follow. Has good onscreen guides.Computer has no issues running: 2021 ASUS ROG STRIX G17

I have an older version of just the basic Clip Studio Paint and have been enjoying it when I'm able to use it. This is a huge and much loved update to use especially the comic page set up as I wanted to start making web comics but I'm not the best with making panels and everything so having premade ones is just ideal. It's pretty easy to pick up and use and if you're unsure watch youtube videos there are SO many out there and were I learned how to use the software and I perfect this so much to photoshop for art but not for photo editing.
