They fit great, are sturdy and very comfortable.
I'm very happy with these. It's the second pair I purchased. They fit great, feel comfortable and very sturdy. The waterproof is an extra bonus. I'm planning to buy another pair soon because I use them quite often to hike over different surfaces.

Great Hiking Shoes
I've had these shoes for almost a year now and came back to right a review...that should tell you something! They've been great. Over the past year, I've put a lot of miles on them camping and around town. (They are a hiking shoe with a fairly rugged appearance; so my wife usually grimaces when I wear them around town.)The first week I had them was spent at Boy Scout camp in OK. They were good in the peak of summer heat & humidity. But they've really been at their best in wet weather. The waterproofing has kept my feet dry in rain, mud, and standing water. They have begun to show minor signs of normal wear and tear, but I'm not gentle on my shoes and could really stand to take better care of them. Overall, they're comfortable, fit true to size, and perform perfectly in all conditions. I highly recommend them.

Merrell Men's Hiking Boots: Durability for trails or the lawn
I recently invested in a pair of Merrell Men's Hiking Boots, and I must say, they have been pretty good for what I was looking for.First and foremost, the comfort level of these boots is ok. Somewhat still and I am hoping that they will break in as time goes by. The inside cushioning and support are sturdy enough and creates an arch that for some could be too much. The durability of these boots is truly impressive. Constructed with high-quality materials, I could see how many people would be able to withstand the test of rough terrains, rocky paths, and various weather conditions. I use them for some heavy-duty lawn care and the reinforced toe and sturdy sole offer excellent protection, ensuring my feet remain secure and shielded against the elements. One notable feature is the effective waterproofing. These boots have kept my feet dry through mud, puddles, and unexpected rain showers, adding an extra layer of reliability to my outdoor adventures. The traction on these boots is outstanding. Whether navigating slippery surfaces or tackling steep inclines, I've experienced excellent grip and stability.I can see why Merrell has shown to be a quality company making quality shoes. Well worth the cost. Although I am not using them for hiking, I could feel confident that if you're in search of reliable hiking footwear that can handle various terrains while providing unmatched comfort, these boots are an investment well worth making.

The media could not be loaded. Pretty much all the positive things everyone else has said. Solid support and traction, lightweight, breathable, durable (so far, 10 miles) and comfortable enough to wear whenever. I'm 6'-2" 205lbs size 12 reg was perfect for my simi wide feet. Almost form-fitting. See vid review.

Perfect, exact fit
I'm preparing for an Alaskan cruise where we will be doing a lot of off-ship excursions and hiking, so I wanted to get a nice pair of waterproof shoes. While I was skeptical of paying $120 just for a pair of shoes, my expectations were exceeded with the Moab 3. They are made extremely well & durable, and the fit is precise and super comfortable. I'm usually a "Skechers" brand guy and these are way more comfortable than any of my Skechers shoes. 5/5 from me!

Very comfortable.
I only wore these once so far, just got them 2 days ago, to make sure they fit right, and I am very pleased they do. They are very comfortable and true to size. These are my second pare of Merrel's in the last few months. I recently purchased a pair of Merrell Men's Coldpack 3 Thermo Mid Waterproof Snow Boot and fell in love with them so much that I wanted hiking shoe to go along with them. These were my first time buying Merrel footwear and will definitely not be my last.

Sizes Run Small (Moab 3 Hiking Boots/shoes)
First time to purchase and keep Merrell shoes. The previous two pair were too small.I wear size 8-8.5 shoes. I did purchase a pair of 9's once before, and they were large. These fit slightly tight, but, a simple readjustment of the shoe-strings, to be looser, should correct that.I'm not wealthy enough to be able to afford a pair of shoes at $100+ so, it is good to get well made shoes at a semi-affordable price. (Considering cost of producing a pair of shoes is about $10, I have to still question the $50 range; but, seeing the gouging at the stores-- where they have to pay exhorbent rents, I guess it stands to reason). Thanks Amazon for creating an atmosphere of extreme competition.Workmanship: 91/100The shoes themselves seem to be solid shoes. Not old school solid; but, definitely look to be light years ahead of the rest out there. As far as that goes, that allows them to squeak by with an A- score. The soles are some of the best I have ever seen. I doubt they'll wear down any time soon. The soles are reminiscent of the tread on breand new tires: nice and thick, with superior traction.Style: 95/100I did not particularly care for the color or look from the picture. What I wanted was functioning shoes, at a reasonable or at least relatively reasonable cost. What I received, however, was something much nicer looking than the pictures appeared to be; although, looks and appeal are in fact in the eye of the beholder. However, this "beholder's" eyes were pleasantly surprised, and pleased.Value: 80/100Once again, when it cost about $10 a pair to make, and pay the toddlers in China a dollar a day (or less), I find it hard to consider $60-100/pr "value". Based on that alone, no, there's absolutely no beneficial value to consumers. However, add expected durability, and comparable prices, and, the fact prices are much lower on Amazon, I can concede the point. There is therefore, perceived value, which is at play; therefore, considering the prices people are willing to pay for shoes, 30-60% lower prices adds value to the consumer.I have mentioned typical retail prices. $100+ for these shoes; would they still hold to a higher value? In this case, the value would be held in quality, and whether they hold up; which I do believe they will, based on what others who are more familiar with this brand than I am, have said. In this case, yes, I would still give the shoes a high rating. If a pair of shoes lasts several (2-3) years and hold up, then the price tends to become downgraded. For example, when I was in my youth, and Reebok's were taking off, I purchased a pair that lasted but a few months; thereby increasing my shoe budget. If these hold up even for two years, the value is increased greatly.Overall: 92/100These shoes do have a stout feel to them. The biggest downside I can realize is they run smaller and tighter than I am used to, While I am at the beginning of my journey with Merrell shoes, I anticipate a much longer journey with them, and that is a good thing.Recommendation: Until further notice, I highly recommend these shoes; while wishing they run wide and more in line with standard shoes.
