Looks great.
It took me a long time to choose a chair for my home workspace. I didn’t want to spoil the interior with office style. So in general, I'm pleased. The view is gorgeous, the upholstery is of pretty good quality. The chair does not creak (as another owner wrote). But I immediately changed the wheels to rubber ones, the ones that came with the kit were of a rather average level and could spoil the floor. May be it might also be nice to have a stopper to fix the backrest in the rear position, but I understand that such a mechanism and the current price of the chair are not compatible). But overall - everything is great! I'm happy. Thank you.

Assembly ...
was a nightmare. I had to hire a handyman ($$$) to come assemble this chair.I watched both him and his assistant wrestle with the chair and they are no amateurs. At least I felt less stupid for not being able to do it all by myself. I'm no amateur either: vindication. Those wheels? You need to have very strong strong hands to get all five of them properly inserted. I couldn't do it. They finished the job for me.On the chair itself? They encountered exactly the same problems I had and had to do everything twice and three times. Those Chinese "instructions" are about as useful as the proverbial t*ts on a bull. There is no way one person, all by themselves, male or female, is going to assemble this chair. Anybody who says they did it alone, no problem, is fibbing. There are few parts, but they are extremely heavy. Takes two just to hold the back and the seat up to insert the screws that hold the two pieces together. Even that is a tad tricky; the 'instructions' are worth zero. That's why an experienced handyman is worth his weight in gold today. And invoices the same way. My guys were superb. Now, the Chair: WOW! Sam & Matthew were blown away by it, once they assembled it. "It's beautiful. Real leather. Mahogany too. Very comfortable." I should have charged them for getting to see it - free. (That's what I told them. $1.00 for viewing.) Seriously, it is a beautifully designed piece of furniture. I am over the moon! After having sat at my computer for the past 15 years on an ordinary hardwood kitchen chair. Pain is only in the mind. I splurged, because I am OLD now. All told, it took a good half hour to put the chair together. And a few new screws.Thank you FLASH FURNITURE. I hope you sell a ton of these.Only, just warn your customers that they are in for a good time getting the thing together. That would be fair. So, they know that they will need to be two, not one. And the instructions aren't going to be of any help at all.Update: A year later and I still LOVE this chair. Sitting in it right now.

Really attractive and comfortable writing chair.
I bought this because my editor and friend has one in his home office and he swears by the thing. I bought one and found that I loved it too. It's more comfortable than my expensive ergonomic chair that it replaced and really fits me like a glove, but your milage may vary due to the fact that it isn't adjustable in any way but height. From the box, it was flawless and easy to assemble. The finish is really nice and it looks a lot more expensive than it is. While the leather isn't top quality, it's not paper thin like some in this price range. I've since bought a second one for my other office. Even if it only lasts for a few years, it's a bargain, but I could easily see it going many more miles than that.

A really good chair at this price point. Beautifully crafted
It's definitely a nice chair. Aesthetically, it's beautiful. and this was far less expensive than any other alternative I could find.I will admit, it's not _super_ comfortable. Because of the curve of the seat cushion. it's better suited for smaller framed individuals. At 6' 1" and approximately 210lbs, sitting in it for extended periods of time makes my lower back and butt uncomfortable. Fortunately, I alternate between sitting and standing throughout the day, so that doesn't really become an issue. It was very easy to assemble. You don't need an extra set of hands to get this together. My only other complaint is the amount of noises this chair generates. Something either in the gas piston or base area creak with little to moderate movements in the chair. kind of annoying; especially if you are on the phone or a conference call and it gets picked up by the phone. All in all, I am happy with the purchase. I swapped the stock casters out for the roller blade style so it glides across hard surfaces with ease and much more quietly.
