The mugs are packaged so well within their box, there is a sturdy layer of polystyrene above and below the mugs to keep them safe during delivery. The mugs themselves are very light but do crack easily so take care when handling them and washing. They keep the drink warm for longer whilst the handle stays cool! Pricey and very fragile, but if you're careful then these are great!

Bought this to replace the slightly smaller glass mug I had before, that one broke. These cups seem much more durable. They are larger than expected due to the extra 'layer'. They do a good job of not letting heat penetrate and I cannot tell how hot the tea isUPDATE: after around 13 months, one cup has cracked while in my washing up bowl. Hopefully the last one will last just as long as the 1st. The cups do not seem to be available now 😢UPDATE 2: 31/05/2020 - The last mug cracked and split inside while I was drying with a t-towel. I won't be buying again.

I like everything about these mugs. 16oz sounds big but in actual fact it's not that big.I have noticed these mugs are very unforgiving: just the slightest knock or bump (e.g., when washing-up, putting in cupboards) and you have a pile of broken glass unlike normal glass mugs. I think it's because given these are double-glazed glass mugs and thus by definition the glass used has to be much, much thinner and thus more fragile.Apart from this, I think these mugs are fab. for hot drinks. Buy them (when in stock) but treat them with care at all times.

Extremely disappointing. At this price point it was delivered used and dirty - someone literally returned a faulty product and it was sent to me with drink residue still on the glass. The bottom of the glass has a tiny gap that is sealed with something - this must have fallen out and caused the liquid get in between the double walls. So assuming they are not dishwasher friendly too. Shane as they look really lovely and exactly what I was after. Size is great too for a large drink.

I gave them five stars, because in reality their advertising and pictures are pretty correct, unlike others I could mention. For me they are just TOO big, it feels like handling a pint of beer almost. Which I guess 500ml would be. So if you know what 500 ml is, then these will do that job. They are quite a nice shape, I'd love the same ones in 375ml.

This isn't a dig at ELIXIR, but it is a bit flimsy.However, the same has occurred with the BODUM double-walled versions that I've been using for over 10 years. The Bodum versions are a little more robust, but when the last one broke a few weeks back, I thought I'd give another brand a try. The Bodums have lasted years at a time.It could just be a _me_ thing, since I am the shared component to all these breaks. For the short term I'm sticking to the metal flasks for the time being.

Tactile and good large size. Well packaged.

Easily handwashed, but can go in the dishwasher from time to time. Nice size for morning coffee or hot chocolate. Keeps my coffee warmer longer than the old mug.

La he comprado 4 veces. Me encanta como se ve el café "flotando". Gracias a su doble capa, la puedes sostener sin quemarte y al ser totalmente transparente le da un toque muy visual a las bebidas. Muy recomendable!
