Bought this as a gift to my nephew, I learned to ride it while trying to teach him and it was lots of fun! It’s very easy to control, battery lasts a long while, it rides smoothly, seems very sturdy for someone who weights 130 lbs, color light makes it look cool in the dark, and the music also added additional fun.

I got this for my 12 year old. I had to guide him and help balance him the first couple times of use. It does take a little time to get used to, however I feel like he mastered the use of it within about 15 minutes. He did need to build up some confidence before going on his own, but he was rolling all over the house on his own in no time. We have wooden floors and the hoverboard glided smoothly on it. The battery is long lasting. It’s durable and sturdy. It can hold a good amount of weight, so it’s great for kids and teens. My husband tried it given he is close to the weight threshold (175 pounds) and it carried him along just as easily as it did my son, it has a pretty powerful motor. It turned with ease, I was able to control the movement swiftly with my feet. I was surprised with the performance, it has some get up and go and it was much easier to use than I expected. The lights are a great addition and it even has a Bluetooth speaker. The sound quality is great and a very cool feature.

I'm thoroughly impressed with this Bluetooth hoverboard. The ability to listen to music while riding adds an extra layer of enjoyment. The hoverboard provides a seamless and smooth riding experience, allowing for effortless control whether moving forward, backward, or circling. Its fast charging capability and long-lasting battery life are commendable. The flashing lights that change color add a cool, fun aspect to the hoverboard. I strongly endorse this hoverboard for anyone looking for a great ride!

I have 4 kids ages 7-14, and there are very few toys that are used on a daily basis after the thrill/newness fades. We bought two of these as birthday presents, and my kids are constantly on them. Of course, we do let them ride them in the house, which means that our baseboards need some touching up, but I am pleased with the quaility and countless hours of fun that my kids have had. It's amazing how quickly they caught on in regards to balance. We have had them for over 2 months, and battery life is still going strong.

Shipped Wrong Color / ordered Blue & Received Purple.It’s a nice Hoover Board and works great. The wrong color was a little bummer because my child picked blue. But we worked through that.

This hoverboard has a great quality and very easy to hand on. More surpringly, this board looks so cool with all its lightings.This is the first hoverboard I bought for my kid and he liked it much. Since we also bought a kart which cud let him ride this board easily, he literally spent 2 hours nonstop on it after we received the package.I would highly recommend this product if you're looking for a starter. It's easy to learn and enjoy!

Updated 1/08/24 I reached out to Gotrax and they sent out a new hoverboard. I now have a happy 6 year old. Things happen but Gotrax made it right.Bought 2 of these for my 6 & 9yr old sons for xmas. My 9yr old's seems to be working fine however my 6yr old's is not working. One of the wheels is rubbing and not spinning freely and you can hear a grinding sound. Also the side plate to that same wheel fell off right when he took it out of the packaging. This was a present from Santa so now he's asking why Santa gave him a broken toy and how will Santa get him one that works since Santa already left. I went to go and exchange it for the same one but it's no longer available. This is NOT what I want to be doing on Christmas morning.

The media could not be loaded.  After much research and deliberation I finally decided to get one of these scooters that just seem to be getting more and more popular by the day. I remember not long ago these were more of a fad because it could only really be used for a short spin or the weight limit was prohibitively low, but take any time on the city blocks and it's clear that all these motorized alternatives to bikes have come a long way. For me this particular one hits that sweet spot between cost and everyday usability as I didn't want to spend too much but also wanted something that was more than just an infrequent leisure item. Getting it ready was very simple, took just a couple of minutes to get the top portion fixed onto the rest of the body and the brake wires in the slots - after that just make sure it's fully charged and away you go.The build and feel of the unit, especially at this price point speaks of solid value. I'm about two hundred pounds and this scooter had no issues carrying me along with some good pep, feeling stable and easy to maneuver at the same time. The folding design works with just a press of the button and fold, making it easy to bring into shops or restaurants. There's something to be said about the convenience of not having to find a place or bike rack to lock it up, or how small and easy it is versus something much larger and cumbersome to move around. It takes up so little space in my small apartment and it's ready to go at with no moment's notice. I couldn't help but smile the first time I took it for a spin, felt like a kid again. Sure it's good for kids and really all ages within the weight limit, but adults might be the ones who really get the most satisfaction out of it. Controls and simple and really it's just a push button for acceleration and the brake, within minutes I felt natural on it and after a evening ride I felt fully confident with it. You have to roll it slightly before the accelerator will kick in, that's to prevent any accidental pushing of the button when noone is on the unit. You can hold the accelerator for ten seconds and it will set up the cruise control, during a night ride with clear lanes it was a joy to just go hands off and enjoy the ride. The distance it's able to go between charges and the achievable top speed will vary depending on the size of the rider, for my significant other who is smaller than me the scooter was pretty much able to get the full limits and for me, while slightly less, still very respectable and more than fast enough especially for city commuting. And yes, if the battery is out you can still treat it as a manual scooter. The tires in person look and feel beefier than expected which helps a lot with dampening the ride. The brakes work well, you rarely have to squeeze it fully as even a slight press will slow it down quite quickly. I've used it daily for the last week or so and it's been so much fun riding it around the city, fast enough to be able to go on the bike lanes.

This scooter is sturdy, comfortable and well built! Excellent materials and craftmanship and I can ride the scooter for hours with a full battery! It only takes around 4 hours to fully charge, I just plug it in overnight and I'm set for the next day! if you like that part of it, I’d say purchase this.Easy to set up is a very good feature of it, and easy to control is another. Riding it on uneven or bumpy roads or sidewalks is not that harsh like others said. The scooter is able to fold, so it's easy to carry on my apartment stairs, or to my office, or on the train or bus! If you live in downtown where traffic jam is heavy, this scooter is an amazing tool for you!These days I ride it everyday and haven’t found any problems. Saved me a lot of time on road. Spring is coming, weather becomes warm and I think I cannot live without it!

This scooter is a great way to travel. The speed and agility are phenomenal however the battery doesn’t last as long as I thought it would. Otherwise it is the perfect scooter

Got the Gotrax Gil V2 for 3 days and I would like to say it gave me a bang for my buck! It looks stylish and sleek, also pretty easy to assemble with all the tools provided. I went for the ride immediately after receiving it and it feels very smooth because of the pneumatic tires. The tires allow for a stable ride and rear disk brake provides a reliable stop.The scooter reaches 25km/h, it do save me time to go to work and no need to worry about the parking space.Overall the scooter is an excellent value and very reliable for short distance commuters. Definitely a very good buy for this affordable price.

saved up my money to purchase this scooter. However, after only a few weeks of use, the back tire unexpectedly deflated. Nevertheless, I remained optimistic and ordered an innertube to fix the issue. The following month, to my surprise, the front tire also deflated. It hadn't even occurred to me that the front tire required an inner tube. Despite the additional expense, I had it promptly repaired. To make matters worse, a couple of months later, the throttle suddenly stopped working. Even though the battery was fully charged, there was no power. I am incredibly frustrated and disappointed with this product.
