Fantastic Quality Very Durable Poncho
This rain poncho is extremely durable. the quality of the poncho Is that that is similar to a military grade. this Poncho is very versatile. So not only does it provide you protection from any possible “ chemical warfare attack”, or just rain… But also can be used as a temporary emergency shelter tent, by using the Anchoring Rings located at the corners of the poncho. And also when this Poncho is not in use you have the option to fold it up and storing it for safe keepings inside of a storage bag that is included with this poncho. The quality and construction of this poncho is really top notch. and for the price of this item I feel it is well worth every single penny spent. I really love having tactical gear that can be used for more than one thing, so this has many different uses and has really come in quite handy over this last year for me. I would highly recommend this Poncho to you if you want to have a good quality made reliable durable poncho .

Great rain poncho, not for CBRN
Synopsis:Overall a good poncho that would be compatible with spec gear (liner, etc) but I'd not trust it for mil use. See conclusion section for recommendations.Reviewed Item:EXPPE Military Nuclear Poncho M15 V.2, CBRN Poncho, Tactical Poncho, Army Poncho for CBRN protect Hazmat cbrn hoodReview Price: $34Initial impressions:Oh were to start... Ok, first off, if you have any idea what CBRN is about you know that's not something to take lightly or mess around with. Since this product claims to be real gear I'll evaluate it as such. That said, seems to be a good rain poncho and seems fairly durable. My example was a consistent 79.5" by 55.5". A typical USGI poncho is 89" by 61" so this C made one is a good bit smaller. There was a chemical odor when I opened it, but that's pretty typical of rain gear and it seemed to air out some. The camo side had a sheen, also typical of 'mil style' gear. The fabric was moderately noisy, but similar to real mil poncho. Each side had two plastic snaps (similar to USGI type) and all four corners had metal grommets. The seams around the hood were taped. I did notice some defects (see pics) which appeared to be holes or thin spots where the backing wore from the camo nylon. This is, of course, a huge concern for CBRN environments. A typical CBRN poncho sells for more than $250 so at $34 for this poncho I suppose there's some quality control issues.Use:I tested the holes/thin spots with light and heavy water flow and did not see leaking, but this was not a long test like standing in rain for hours. The fit was great for me (5'10", usually size large shirts). This poncho would fit over a small or medium pack or plate kit with no problem. I found the zipper and drawstring to work well at keeping the hood tight to the face. The hood fit me with a size XL FAST helmet with minimal attachments. Ear pro on helmet probably wouldn't fit and NVD definitely would have to stick out. The hood would fit around most any gas mask setup I'd think, certainly any common types. One other consideration, since they're advertising as real gear: this poncho is not NIR compliant (has to do with night vision and dyes used for the fabric). The fabric is also noisier than true USGI ponchos. Conclusion:As advertised I'd give this a 0 star. As 99.999% of purchasers will never need the CBRN or other mil considerations, I'd rate this as a 4.5 star rain poncho. I split the difference and gave it a 2.5 and rounded to 3 stars. If you just want a cool poncho, go for it. If you're looking for mil grade, spend the extra money and get real gear.

Now THIS is a poncho!
The media could not be loaded. The kind of thing that you’re looking for in a pawnshop is this kind of thing. It has very simple snaps on the side that you can put your arms through. Depends on your size, but it might be enough to reach down to your wrists. But the truth is the point of something like this is to be able to use it for multiple different applications, such as a tent, or a blanket on the floor to protect you. The elements are severe and some thing this durable waterproof will be what you need in a pinch. The camo style is rather faded and sort of blends together, and has a bit of a shine to it, but none of that is a concern. In fact, it might work very well to camouflage. I’m gonna have to say I give it five out of five stars and I highly recommend it!

A Good Poncho, But Absolutely Not A Mil-Spec Poncho
This poncho has some good things and some not so good things going on. I guess to begin I will go ahead and say that overall it is a pretty good poncho. However the Amazon page is very misleading about what kind of poncho it is and some of it's specs. They say that it is "a military poncho", "made of rip-stop", and has "Industrial-stitched construction". However none of that is true at all.- It is not made of rip-stop. It is a good, fairly heavy duty, polyester type material, but not rip-stop.- The stitching is not industrial grade or of the quality of a real military poncho. It is a thin, single row of stitching, that is even kinda loose looking in places. I do worry that the hemmed edges will fail fairly quickly with use.- It is several inches smaller in each direction than a real military issued poncho. Therefore your woobie will not align with it correctly and is much bigger than this poncho. You can still pull off making the sleeping bag with it, but you will have to tuck in all the extra woobie material.- It only has gromets on the four corners and none on each side like a real issued poncho. You can definitely still make a shelter or sleeping bag with it. It is just going to be harder than with a real issued poncho that has all the needed gromets. Those are the main misleading issues with this poncho and why it is not at all a military poncho. However like I already said, it is still a good usable poncho that is made of a pretty decent material. Actually if you are someone who has never seen or used a real military issued poncho, you will probably be very happy with this poncho right off the bat because you wouldn't have any pre conceived notions to compare it to. I also do like it overall, I just don't like when companies use misleading specs and claims about their products.A few other details about it are that is does have a couple of snaps on each side for when wearing it or making a sleeping bag with a woobie. It also has a zipper at the hood area to help make putting it on easier and quicker. The hood seams are sealed with tape, but the zipper seams are not unfortunately. Lastly, it doesn't come with the little camo pouch shown in the pictures, but it does come in a nice ziploc pouch with the company's logo on it.So overall it is definitely a pretty good poncho. You can make a shelter, sleeping bag, tarp, raft, and all that good stuff out of it. It will work perfectly fine as a survival kit poncho or bugout poncho the same way military ponchos are typically used. I personally would have no problem or worries about making a shelter with it and sleeping under it if I had to. Though it isn't a real military poncho, I still would recommend it as just a good overall poncho.
