Hard to gauge effectiveness
Better instructions on placement and intended outcome would have been helpful. I was unsure as to the placement of the brace on my male bullboxer. I purchased this to help with pain management related to a CCL tear. Continued use may be needed for noticeable results.

Great instructions
I've been using this for one of my dogs with an ACL issue. While we need to keep his activity down, he still needs a bit of extra support to help him from overdoing it.I have a different brace that doesnt secure in front of the hip, and while that one works fine, this one got me thinking. The price is pretty comparable to the velcro securing, and non-rigid, braces I see online. The stitching on this brace is really durable; every side or opening has two rows of the stitching, and an edge strip to keep it together. None of the stitches, or even the velco, on this brace were poorly secures, or in any way in bad shape. The velcro holds up well, after several weeks of progressive use, theyre still going strong and secure the various parts well. Where i'm at, theres plenty of dust or mud and rain, and so far it has held up great against all of the exposures to the elements. The instructions included are perfect for fitment and care of this brace. They also explain how to steadily introduce it for your dog to get accustomed to it without overdoing it. Its not much, but it goes over everything very clearly and concisely so that you know what to do and expect.Shipping was fine for me; the brace arrived relatively quickly and without incident.

Nice construction
This is a knee brace for your best friend. It comes in a range of sizes for every kind of dog.If you have an older dog, you may have noticed their gait changing with age and related arthritis and such; using this knee brace could help support your dog's knee if your vet recommends this device. We got this for our 16-year-old terrier mix but he did not wind up needing it, so I'm afraid I don't have much to offer on performance. I can assure you that it is nicely made with very firm stitching and a hearty webbed material makes up the body of the knee brace. It took me a little bit to figure out how to put on my doggie, so don't worry if it takes you a minute too!

Works best for girls.
Didn’t work for my boy because the body strap is right over his man part. If I put it further up it slides back and causes discomfort. The medium did fit fits leg. He’s a large sized 30lb Boston terrier.

Not Getting used it
I don't know what it is, but my almost 11 year old is not really getting used to it.She can only tolerate fr a few minutes, however, i did notice that she was stand on the injured leg a bit more while wearing it so I decided to innovate and use bandage instead which tolerated much better. This brace seems to be OK, but may require patience, the side stabilizer is good.I do think that the brace would be more effective for severe injuries or severe arthritis situationsNot the best price, but cheaper than a visit to the veterinarian for sure

Did not fit properly
Dogs are so unique with their builds, this brace needs to be more adjustable. I had to return it.

Hard to know for sure but I think it helps
I purchased this knee brace for my sweet Unni, who was recovering from a CCL tear and TPLO surgery on her left leg. As she started showing signs of discomfort in her right knee, I hoped the brace would provide some relief from the added strain.Admittedly, our first attempts at putting it on weren't very successful. While the brace itself isn't complicated to secure, Unni was initially quite unhappy with it. However, with some patience and practice, she grew more accustomed to it, and she now tolerates it for longer periods. It mostly stays in place, although fitting it on a bulldog like her can be a bit of a challenge. I don't know for sure if it is helping with the pain, but she seems to be having less discomfort.
