Q: I do not like the weight or lack of flexibility of a boot, so I would like a tennis shoe with a boot look. Do these feel like boots or tennis shoes?

These ride a bit higher on the ankles than regular high-top shoes, but they are like wearing a tennis shoe. I've added a heel pad for a bit more comfort, like I do with many of my shoes. I've found them very comfortable to wear all day.

Q: Do they run true to size?

No, they are not even close. I ordered these direct from Harley Davidson Footwear. I wear a 12 Wide and ordered that size. What I got was more like a 14.5 triple wide.
