Good quality, but too narrow for intended application
Stainless steel bolts are expensive and hard to find powder-coated with black paint, which is why I picked these up. However, the gauge was too narrow for the heavier application I wanted. My fault. But this means I haven't put them to use yet. So they are waiting for their moment. But the price is excellent for this type of fastener, and they do come in a tidy plastic case with the sizes clearly labeled. So they'll get their chance eventually.

304 SS or 410 SS?
Short review:These are a great assortment of what I believe to be 410 stainless steel bolts with a black oxide coating. They offer great hardness and improved corrosion resistance over traditional steel galvanize coated bolts.Longer more picky review:I was looking for some lag bolts for a chicken coop run upgrade project that the wife gave me. I needed some lag bolts that would hold up a bit better than the run of the mill, steel galvanize coated bolts at the local hardware store. So that led me to searching Amazon for some “stainless steel lag bolts”. I was really wanting to get some 304 stainless steel bolts, they are usually super expensive, but offer the best of everything. I found these, they say they are 304, and are pretty cheap for 304, but why are they black oxide coated.... for looks? There is nearly no advantageous reason to coat 304 except for looks. 304 is pretty much rustproof. I was skeptical and figured they were made out of the much cheaper 410 stainless steel, but as long as they are not plain steel they should work. I got them and they looked just like the imagines online. I of course do the old magnet check on them and they sorta pass... They are not steel, but in my opinion, they are not 304 either. I have some known 304 bolts and washers and they have near no magnetic properties like most would expect. These however can just barely hold their weight with a weak refrigerator magnet. I have no other way to determine what these are made of. I kinda want to do a salt spray test, but they will work great for my project and are far better options than what the local hardware store stocks. I recommend, but I am skeptic about the 304 claim.

Good quality - good assortment
Doing projects around the house every now and then you come up needing some good, sturdy lag bolts to securely fasten something. Every time I need some I run to the big box store to get the size and length I need … and I pick up a couple extra to have on hand for the next time I need them. Doing it that way isn’t cheap and often delays completion of a project waiting on the next trip to the store. This package contains several of the most often used sizes (in my experience anyway). They are neatly labeled and packed into a reusable case. It should be emphasized that these are standard 1/4” SAE sized bolts (not metric). And these are good quality, too. Those at the big box store will sometimes be made of such weak steel that one of their heads will twist off just as you are snugging it up. (I’ve had that happen more than once before!) My first use of these lag bolts included 16 of them being screwed into well aged (been used for something else before), tough 2x4 workbench legs. Not one twisted in two … even though 8 of them were driven in, backed out, and driven in again in a new location by an impact driver.Their points are sharp. The black coating remained unscuffed in my use (excepting for a couple of the ones which were driven, extracted, and re-driven in a location where the socket couldn’t be seated squarely on the bolt head). The only potential negative is that the heads are slightly thinner than most similar lag bolts I have used in the past. But that didn’t seem to create any weakness - as noted above I didn’t have any to twist off. Although their thin heads did make it a bit more difficult when I tried using a ratcheting box end wrench on a couple before I figured out how to get the impact driver socket on those hard to reach bolts. So I rate these as a first rate, good quality assortment of 1/4” lag bolts which is very good to have on hand for the next time you need a few lag bolts.

A great set of use-anywhere lag screws
This is an outstanding set of lag screws. The threads are sharp and deep with absolutely no burrs. They are made of 304 stainless steel, which has excellent corrosion resistance, and are black oxide coated for even greater protection. The coating is very uniform and shiny and makes these lag screws really attractive. These screws are appropriate for use in harsh outdoor environments but of course can also be used for less demanding indoor applications, so if you have these on hand they can be used for whatever need arises without worry that they will hold up. The lag screws and washers are packaged in a sturdy plastic multi-compartment storage box with a very secure latch and a label showing screw length by location in the box. I have no specific use planned for these, but I'm certain that I will use these lag screws for all sorts of applications in the future.

Nice assortment to have around the house
Review for: 'JROUTH' 1/4 Hex Lag Bolts assortmentThis is a nice assortment of 1/4" lag bolts made from 18/8 stainless steel, which has excellent corrosion resistance. 155 pieces and they have a lack oxide finish. These would really come in handy around the house - mounting things like a TV to a wall, installing a hose reel outside, etc. (make sure you drill a pilot hole first, or you could split the wood) I really hate having to make trips to the local big box store, pick out the hardware, write the numbers down on the bag and then go through the checkout.Would recommend

When a screw just won't do
1/4" lag bolts came in a sturdy plastic container, sorted separately by length, from 1" to 3", with plenty of washers. Now I can trust that items I bolt to the wall can handle a lot of weight.Less expensive than buying them individually or in packages of two or more, but costlier than bulk bins, and I'm happy with not having to rummage through assorted hardware.
