Pretty great, and value for the price. Equivalent size box at my local hardware store was 2.5 times the price for the same quantity. They light easily and burn hot... I start a fire with two or three pieces of these and I know it's going to catch and burn.

This is the best fat lighter wood I've seen in years. A lot of wood in the box, and at a good price! Easy to light, stays burning in the most unfavorable weather and burns hot. The smell of the pine resin is amazing and it works great!

Great starters, burn very well.

i took a couple sticks and shaved some featherings to help it light. it caught fire quickly but also had some soot so let that burn off before you either breathe close to it or cook food around it. it worked great but had those drawbacks. for just getting a fire started, it was great.
