Perfect for ls1
I stripped the threads out of a ls1 aluminum block and this got me back on the road at a fraction of the price of those big box kits

Not for LS head bolt threads
Length of product not long enough, seems like product is only for shallow holes. I order other parts from gavan tools to tap my LS 5.3 engine block.

A must-have for broken head bolts in an LS Chevy engine
This kit was a lifesaver with a broke off bolt and a aluminum Chevy LS engine was impossible to extract due to the loctite disc kit. Drilled that out in the insert is still holding strong with high torque specs on this engine. I was not confident that this product would hold however it holds perfect! It's not quite as easy to use as the instructions say it is for professionals, so be careful it's not used right? You can destroy your engine

Inserts were dirty from machining
It did what it was intended for, drill bit nice and sharp, tap was sharp, the beveling tool would get gummed up and didn't quite go deep enough but with a little modification that was cured. The insert tool would locked into the inserts because the inserts were full of debris from machining. Other than that worked ok.
