Surprisingly sturdy and easy to assemble!
I wasn’t sure what to expect quality-wise, but I was very impressed by how sturdy this little bench is.I have a smaller bathroom, and this fit perfectly in the corner. It holds an extra bottle of shampoo, some backup tissue, and still looks cute. One caveat though. When I first assembled it, I put 2 of the legs on backward (my fault), and the bench was really rickety and unstable. So at first, I thought the legs were made wrong, but it was actually I just didn’t know how to put it together. So if yours seems wobbly, double-check that you didn’t make the same mistake I did. Lol.But aside from my user error, it was easy to assemble. I’ve used it over a month now and I love it. The towel rail is a nice bonus too. The whole design is very purposeful. I would recommend.

Perfect
My mom had brain surgery so I decided to redo her bathroom. This was perfect, easy to put together and she loved it. It unfortunately was missing a rubber piece for one of the legs so it wobbled.

***BUYER BEWARE*** Broke after 6 uses!
At first, this bench was great. Went together well and was sturdy the first time I used it. When I went to use it again, the bottom shelf just fell out. After inspecting, one leg came loose. Very odd I thought as I made sure everything was tightly screwed in. The legs are attached with 2 long bolts each. After retightening, and then proceeded to used it, again the shelf came out a few minutes later. Now more legs were loose. I only use this for 10 minutes a shower and I am only 160 lbs. there should have been no reason for these screws to become loose after one use! I then decided to add Locktight to the screws to keep them secure. The next time I went to use the bench, just about done with my shower and the 2 front legs broke off and I fell to the tub floor. The braces on the sides are only secured with tiny brad nails. THIS IS NOT A NICELY MADE PIECE! I’m just glad I didn’t reinsure my broken ankle or get hurt by the wood and nails from it! Pay more for something good.

Poor quality control on finished product
It's a nicely constructed piece of furniture for a decent price that I'll happily use as a small side table, plant stand, etc. elsewhere in my home later on--unlike others out there that have exposed hardware and/or are just plain ugly. ' Had to "ding" assembly ease because the legs were stickered wrong for assembly, so once I just paid attention to how the pieces actually fit together instead of trying to follow the instructions, it was nice and easy. The pieces should have been sanded better! There were numerous places beneath the seat level with rough, splintery edges, but even worse--the seat itself had one very obvious nasty splinter that I had to sand down, else I would have gotten it in my derriere upon first use! Upon light check of seat slats for any other splinters I ended up with a tiny one in my thumb that I wasn't able to remove and has not yet worked its way out. So that's why the low score on comfort. Also, they should have put another coat of finish on after checking that pieces were properly sanded. I'll have to re-coat it later on; didn't have time to before beginning use of the bench. Oh yes, if you are a person of any size larger than medium and plan to sit on this--I can't imagine you'll be comfortable. I'm on the small side of medium and it fits me, but not much room to spare. It does fit nicely inside or outside a tub or small shower stall, and it is visually pleasing.

Lil difficult to assemble
It was a little bit difficult to put together and get things to lineup. But once it did, it held and works perfectly.

Great Bamboo, But?
I followed directions to the T and the parts just did not fit well. I had to force the parts to fit to get screwed in and it was very difficult. After tightening all bolts very tight after a few times of use the legs go loose and the bottom trey fell out. After this happening several times, I ended up epoxying all bolts and the bottom trey. It is holding up now but over all a struggle to keep it together. The quality of the bamboo is great but the design?

Decent design undermined by poor execution. Usable with modifications.
Had I turned this in as my woodworking project in 5th grade shop class, old Mr. Jensen would probably have given me a B- and a pretty long lecture on the importance of patience, care, and honesty in performing the work we do. He would likely have ended with 'if it isn't done right, it isn't actually done'.So here's the deal: this hasn't been done right, and it isn't actually done. Like a kid trying to get an undeserved grade, this is a product trying, not without some success, to look markedly better than what it actually is. In practice, these efforts allow the manufacturer to make marketing claims that sound good but which turn out to be largely meaningless. For examples: - this is touted as 'solid wood'. In practice, this is solid wood in pretty much the same way as meatloaf is solid meat. Both are made by compressing scraps, fillers, and a binder. Nothing wrong with meatloaf, mind you. Love me a good meatloaf. But it is deceitful to pretend it's a roast. Just like it's deceitful to suggest that this product has solid wood's ability to hold up better in wet conditions.- it is variously described as lacquered, varnished, water-resistant, and waterproof. Well, there *is* a limited amount of low-quality varnish on it. In places. There are also many large areas where there is not. It has basically been passed under a spray nozzle. There is little or no varnish on the side of the slats of the bottom shelf for example, or under the seat, or in dozens of other small places. Which, for a shower bench means that it might as well not be varnished at all. It will have little or no ability to resist mold or mildew. It is described as sturdy, and strong because of it's A-shaped construction. Well, it is A-shaped. But A-shaped designs get their strength from the crossmember being attached to both legs. In this case, the crossmember (the little lower shelf) is simply slotted into cutouts in the legs. It is not attached at all. No attachment, no strength. You get the idea, everything is poorly done - poorly built, poorly sanded, poorly finished. There are two reasonable scenarios where you could be happy with this product, as long as you buy it at a discount. 1. You just want to use it as a plant stand or magazine rack, not as a shower bench. 2. You are willing to make up for the undone work by wood-gluing the bolted and screwed joints together, sanding down the all the rough spots, stripping the poor finish, and applying a heavy coat of polyurethane, boatbuilders lacquer, or spar varnish. If you are willing to do that (I am), and you are willing to set it out of the shower when not in use, and set it outside of the shower and dry it down after it has been used, then you might still have it serving its intended purpose and still looking decent in a few years.
