Works well to kill odors and very powerful. I was going to rent one for $35. This one cost me less than $40. Make sure you understand how to use it. It can kill anything that needs oxygen; animals, fish, people, etc. Thoroughly vent the area after use before re-entry. I've used it in the house and two cars. Would have bought one years ago if I knew I could get it at this price.

Just as I needed

I do my own detailing on my cars and have a work van that gets pretty stinky because I work outside in the desert. This completely strips all the sweat odor from my work van and I even run it in my personal cars once a year. Run the device for 30 minutes with the air on recirculate and it cleans out all the vents. This is a must-have.

I bought this to remove odors from a rental house. The odors seemed to be a combination of food and wood smoke. The house is about 2300 sqft. I did 3 treatments where I started in the morning, turned the HVAC fan to always-on mode, set the timer to 120 minutes, let it run, waited until the following morning, then opened up all doors and windows for 2 hours, then closed windows and doors again. Repeat for the next treatment. Every time I used the machine, I made sure that I could smell ozone after turning it on so I knew it was working before I left the house.Almost all of the smells were gone after the first treatment, but I decided to see if more treatments would be better.All of the offensive smells are gone after 3 treatments, but there's very little difference between the 1st and 3rd treatment. The only smell remaining is very faint and reminds me of wet pine lumber.I would've given a higher rating if the instruction manual was more specific about how to use the machine.

Worked very well removing smoke smell from a home. Would recommend it for home use.

The machine worked great. I like that it has a timer. Didn’t work to get dog smell out of a travel trailer’s carpet. Previous owners must have had a large dog that urinated on the carpet. I could tell that the ozone generator worked, but didn’t help the dog smell. Probably too saturated in the carpet. I ended up replacing the carpet.

Smells terrible, but it does seem to work

I discovered ozone machines during my travels in Turkey. While staying at a villa, we encountered a suite that reeked of cigarette smoke. It was quite unpleasant, prompting us to reach out to the owner for help. Thankfully, he provided us with an ozone machine. Although it didn't completely eradicate the odor, it certainly made it more bearable.Impressed by its effectiveness, I decided to invest in a unit of my own to rid my vehicle of cigar smoke, which I occasionally indulge in. To my delight, it completely eliminated the smell. Now, I'm using it to freshen up both my home and workshop, enjoying the crisp, clean air it provides.
