Very cute kit with all you need. A little confusing if you are trying to learn to crochet on your own but a fun kit to teach someone else the basics.

My 13 year old granddaughter loved it. The instructions were great. She had it completed done in one sitting.

The kit did come with everything needed to start crocheting.The yarn is very difficult to work with for the first time, it's very thin and constantly splits.Video tutorials are fast and don't explain the initial state of the yarn.Ended up buying better yarn and using the given patterns.Note I had 0 experience before working with this.

It was exactly same as the product description, looking forward my first crochet.

This is so close to perfect, but I can't get over the chinzy crochet hook the include. It's two-sided with different sizes (marked 4/0 and 3/0...according to the internet that's 2.5 and 2.3mm in Japaneses size). The handle is a about a 1/8 inch thin plastic piece, but at least it's wide enough to rest your thumb on. We'll see how it feels when I start using it.Now for the good part: They include 3 very nice key chains with a swivel clip and a key ring, plus a smaller clip to attach your finished amigurumi. At least a dozen stitch markers including more in the yarn package where they actually made the starting crocheted rings for you.everything else seems standard, plastic needles, snippers, eyes, stuffing so you don't need anything else.It's a bit pricey for the materials included, but since it's an all inclusive kit, it's not outlandish. You can always buy more yarn, etc and make more with the same instructions.

The white yarn was coming undone right out of the box so I couldn’t complete any of the animals. Ended up returning the whole thing

I loved having the videos for every single step. I also appreciated the extra materials because I definitely made some mistakes and needed extra yarn. This was a great introductory kit for crochet!

I bought this for myself and it was the first time I had ever crochet something. It was not easy, but the video instructions were really helpful.I wish it could have been more affordable though…

The media could not be loaded. I was hoping this crochet set would be easy for beginners, but my daughter and I struggled. This is probably because we didn’t get any instructions in the kit; a vital piece for getting started. Next we went to the website provided on the box, but the site does not exist. Thanks to the Amazon listing photo, we were able to zoom in on one of the pictures and scan the QR code with our phone. This code took us to a YouTube video (was worried where it would take us) with step by step instructions. Feeling lost, we managed to find the first video and followed along. The first part of the video was great, but unfortunately the yarn provided in the kit was already partially completed for us allowing us to skip this crucial step. Although this may be helpful for some, I thought it was important to learn this step. So my daughter and I used some yarn in the kit that wasn’t already started yet and practiced, but we could not get passed the magic loop because the yarn continued to slip off the hook and split. The videos are pretty clear and very well done, but we had to put it in slow motion to see how to do the steps. This took a LOT of time.After several unsuccessful attempts over a few days, I tried to find some better instructions on YouTube on crocheting for beginners due to the yarn slipping off or the needle going in between the yarn and splitting it into a mess. One major thing we discovered was, it is important to know how to hold the needle properly. This is something we didn’t find on the Mocoosy YouTube channel. There were some other starting videos out there that were better but didn’t help us very well for the specific task we were doing. Many had hooks that looked larger than what we had. After two hours of struggling, my daughter and I were frustrated and decided to give it a break. My husband took the kit and tried as well and had a hard time doing it…and apparently he has done this before when he was a kid. He found the needle too small to hold, that’s 3 beginners who couldn’t figure it out. 🥴This was heartbreaking for us because I had no way of helping my daughter get past the first few steps without the yarn slipping off the hook. Is it the technique, the yarn or the hook that is the problem? I can’t say because we are as new as you can get when it comes to crochet. 🦋OVERALL:I can’t knock stars off of this cute little kit just because we don’t know what we are doing; I don’t think that would be fair. However, I am deducting a star because we didn’t get any instructions and the website led to nothing. I think it’s fair to also deduct half a star because it is supposed to be beginner friendly. My daughter was pretty upset that we couldn’t complete the fox (her favourite animal). Fail mom moment. 😔 So, I have promised her that we would take the kit to Nana’s house who can show us in person how to crochet. Sadly she lives too far away to just pop over, but we won’t give up! That being said, it is a super cute kit for people who know what they are doing.

The instructions are esay to follow but there are also many video for step by step and for biginners who don't yet know the stiches they also show the different stichs in an other series of video. Verry biginner friendly and great result for the one I made. Thank you!
