This works well, but has mild preservative effects.
I use this when I make my own skincare formulas. I like how this is easy to use, and it doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin. I also like how this acts as a preservative for my homemade serums and lotions. I am only giving this 4 stars because it is very mild.

Good for diy skincare
This is a good option for making your own skincare stuff. It helps things keep for longer, which is a good idea because skincare without a preservative often doesn’t last long enough. My bottle didn’t leak in transit and I appreciate that it was very well packed in case of leaks. I do wish it came with an eyedropper, though I did have one already that I could use.

Need Better Bottle
I was very excited to try this serum booster from Skin Perfection for my daily serum. The ingredients are all positive additions for my skin that I am not currently getting from my serum or moisturizer. My excitement dwindled a little with the packaging of this product. I thought surely it came with a small bottle and a dropper(?) or at the very least there is a dropper inside the cap somehow (don't ask me how) or something. Nope, open and pour and get your own dropper/bottle.So I put some of this into a glass dropper bottle and I use a couple of drops every morning with my serum (I don't have a way to mix this other than in my hand). It is... ok. I haven't noticed any significant changes to my skin during the time I've been using this. It does make my serum not soak in as well and leaves my face skin feeling a little tacky. I've been playing with the order - tried putting this on by itself before and after serum, tried mixing it with moisturizer... it may just be a little too much for my face. This booster is not a bad thing to try adding to your skin, I just don't know that it's quite right for the skin on my face. I have started mixing a little bit with my body lotion because the ingredients should be great for any skin and at least I'm not contending with trying to apply makeup on a surface that is not ideal. If you actually mix your own face products so you can better control the moisturizing ingredients, this may work for you.

Leaked on directions
Couldn’t read the direction so ended up not using.

Like you're Walter White, but making skincare products
Ever read about entrepreneurs who started their own skincare lines on CNBC? They all outsource to big factories but I reckon when just starting out, they probably used kits like this stabilizing / moisturizing mix to help make sure their products have the expected effects (or at least not damage people's skin)Definitely not something for everyone! Requires patience and experimentation and a desire to make your own skincare formulations to really use

I received what appeared to be a returned product
The package I received might have been a return. Some of the contents appeared to have spilled out, despite the fact there was tape on the lid. The foil seal also appeared to have been lifted prior to me receiving it. It's a 4oz bottle, so of course it's a small quantity, but when I looked inside about a third of the container was empty. I decided to weigh the contents and sure enough, I'd received almost an ounce less than what I had bought. Very expensive for what it is, especially if the contents are returns/spilled.

A mild preservative for skin care products -- not direct use.
I've been doing a lot of research as I delve into DIY skin care formulations. The natural butters, oils, extracts often involved can have a short shelf life. Adding a mild preservative is wise. SkinPerfection Leucidal SF Complete is a good choice. It's not meant to be used directly on skin. But it will preserve skin care product longevity and performance. I find the small 4oz jug it arrives in suitable for an additive; but I can understand why some users feel it looks misleading, especially if they're not clear on what this product is meant to do. Be prepared to use your own measuring tool(s) to follow listed concentrations/directions. An included instruction booklet helps understand this product, and others offered by the SkinPerfection line. I have no reason to not recommend it.
