I was a little skeptical about buying these because of the one negative review, and had wished for more reviews than the three prior...one being negative, and saying they caused an idle issue. Well I just installed mine and no issue with idle or anything else. Running like as before I installed them. Hopefully they will do as advertised and keep the oil out.

These appear to be of excellent quality and fit perfectly. Plus, they are very affordable. I already had the 2 pin harnesses which Mercedes actually manufactures to address the problem of oil infiltration, but they are quite expensive in comparison. Not sure why Mercedes doesn't make the 3 pin harness, as well, since there is oil infiltration for the Cam Position Sensors, as well.These are very inexpensive insurance against wiring harness contamination and control modules damage, which will run into the thousands to repair or replace.

This product is defective and cause my hugely expensive Mercedes Benz engine to idle erratically and it was very frightening. After many hours spent investigating, I traced it back to these. Even the passengers noticed it and were wondering what was happening from the awful change in how the car began to idol. These should removed these from the market immediately.
