This was very easy to install. I chose the center top of the slider, because I could go closer to the edge of the door there, to avoid risk of hitting the glass. Holds well with just the 2 screws furthest from the glass, no need to use all 4. I did drill pilot holes first.

All sliding doors should come with this. Piece of mind with the extra security.

I truly like that lock and helps me feel safer with my sliding glass door.Also love it’s easy to lock and unlock.

I have no idea what to do with these as no instructions included. What a waste.

I can hazard a guess from the photos on the box/product description on how to install this. It looks like you have to drill into the frame of the sliding glass door, and into the door itself, which makes me nervous because I don't know how far the glass goes into the frame? There were literally zero instructions with this product. I'm sure it works great if you can install it, but I don't want to do something wrong and mess up my sliding doors. The lock is a button that pops the metal lock into place so that it can't slide. This would be a nice added security feature on your sliding doors as well since it is a secondary lock to the regular ones. Everything was packaged nicely, but again, it's literally just a box with the pieces in it and I have no idea how exactly to use it properly.
