This material worked well to insulate dishwasher for sound dampening. One piece was long enough to go up one side across the top and down the other side several inches. With two pieces overlapped the whole dishwasher was covered. I duct taped it in place. I believe this is a much better option than the very small piece of fabric offered on Amazon as dishwasher insulation material. I would buy the 24x60 size for better coverage if I had to do it again.

The sound insulating blankets were worth every penny! Cheapest price unit I could find, but I have to look for lights to know the dishwasher is running. Super easy to install, used duct tape to secure the two blankets, which covered top, sides and back nicely.

I had a mouse ruin my dishwashers original insulation. It was a super fluffy cotton like material that only covered the top and part of the sides. This product was thinner than I thought it would be but is much more dense than the original insulation and provided coverage of the sides, back, and top. The noise is slightly less than with original insulation but my washer is quiet to begin with. Good choice if you need to replace your original insulation without paying the outrageous prices of "genuine" parts.

Good product easy to install.

Bought a new dishwasher that was a little loud and made the countertop hot above it. Put two layers of this around the top and sides of it and it significantly improved. Not like it was silent but a lot better. Inexpensive upgrade.
