8/2018 - still very expensive but net-net this is a champ in the kitchen if you cook from scratch - really clever especially if you have counter top limitations an no "custom" garbage holes (except if you live in NC or TX and have a ridiculous spec house and kitchen -- lol) - still would recommend it but the price is probably not compelling for most Americans unless you're a gourmet cook ... too few ...========================================================================================================Day 1 - this is a pretty good idea and generally well designed and manufactured. Not sure how well it'll last over time and very, very expensive considering this is not a professional grade cutting/chopping block. Most of the add-on cost seems to be in the stainless steel tray which probably retails around $15 so this is still a very expensive piece of wood when all is said and done. The stainless steel tray is not edge finished in the best way possible and has a bit of a "sharp" feeling all around which may become an issue after some wear and tear. I'll give it credit for being clever and we'll see how it does with everyday use in the next month - stay tuned I'll update my review soon ...

Review:A chopping board for nearly $70? I wasn't sure it would be worth the price but I am glad I ordered it. The wood is beautiful. It is very sturdy and great craftsmanship. The tray fits perfectly under the chopping board and slides easily. I like that I can put the tray in the dishwasher. The chopping board is worth every penny.

my boyfriend loved this cutting board. I expected it'd be a little bigger but it works for him. He really likes the large single tray. A bit pricey but I guess I paid a little extra for a stainless steel tray rather then the plastic one.

We have been loving our Cleenbo cutting board. As someone who spends a lot of time in the kitchen, it's definitely come in handy to have a waste drawer underneath that helps me optimize space on the cutting board and counter. It's a practical board, easy to clean and I love the look - we don't put it away, we just leave it out on top of our kitchen counter.

Heard about this cutting board from my best friend and just had to give it a try; I was not disappointed. The build is solid, the size is perfect for a counter top and the sliding tray is perfect for clean-up or storage if you're preparing many items. I cannot recommend this cutting board enough.

This cutting board is very sturdy, well made, and sits perfect on my counter top. It is stable when used. The tray is hands down a definite plus to NOT have another bowel on the counter for waste. Very easy to clean. Also have used it to put hot pans on it to protect my counter top. It is exactly what I needed, highly recommend it.

Vor einigen Tagen lieferte mir Amazon das Schneidbrett. Erster Pluspunkt, die Ecken wurden mit Plastikkappen für den Versand geschützt.Das Brett macht rund um einen wertigen Eindruck und die Gummifüße verhindern in Verbindung mit dem Eigengewicht das Wegrutschen.Die Auffangschale ist ebenfalls wertig verarbeitet und leicht zu reinigen. Sie ist in das Brett eingehängt, aber berührt den Boden nicht, so dass die Schale problemlos von beiden Seiten entnommen werden kann. Die Oberfläche des Bretts ist hervorragend bearbeitet und lässt sich somit einfach reinigen. Auch die Größe ist für mich perfekt! (Foto anbei) Ich würde es jeder Zeit wieder bestellen!

Guten Tag, ich habe das Brett soeben erhalten und es macht einen wertigen Eindruck. Nun habe ich es vorsichtig mit ein wenig warmen Wasser und einem Spültuch gereinigt gemäß Anleitung. Daraufhin entstanden viele kleine winzige Holzspäne, als wenn man mit einem feinen Schmiegelpapier über das Brett gefahren wäre. Weiter hat das Brett stark abgefärbt und tut dies immer noch nach 2-maligem vorsichtigem Nachspülen. In dem Zustand kann ich keine Lebensmittel darauf verarbeiten. Ich möchte hier keine negative Rezension hinterlassen, sondern wollte gerne mit dem Hersteller sprechen, aber es gibt keinen Weg. Kann sich bitte jemand melden? Sonst geben ich das Brett als defekt zurück. Schade eigentlich. Macht einen super Eindruck und die Schale sitzt fest, aber das Holz scheint minderwertig.

Fantastic expensive but worth it!

In der Anwendung ist das Brett genial und die Verarbeitung ist richtig klasse. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Was man wissen muss ist, dass das Brett bzw. der verarbeitete Bambus extrem hart ist. Das ist gut für die Haltbarkeit aber wer wie ich mit z.B. gerne mit Damast-Stahlmessern arbeitet muss sich darauf einstellen, dass er öfter schärfen muss.
