Columbia women's Crestwood Waterproof Hiking Shoe

I am super happy with these Columbia hiking shoes! I have good hiking boots and was looking for hiking shoe as an alternative. This pair totally fit the bill. First of all, it was comfortable in a 7 wide, which is my normal size in a boot. Roomy enough for a thick sock. Right of out of the box, I wore it on a wooded one mile hike with no discomfort at all, and have worn it on several more hikes with no problems. It seems like a very well-made shoe, with a thick grippy sole, a protected front, a padded tongue, and all the other features you’d like to see on a hiker. You can trip on a root in these shoes and your feet will be protected.Second of all, it looks great. The pebble brown is a very traditional hiking color, with contrasting laces. The laces aren’t too long or too short. I haven’t worn it in wet conditions but it seems quite waterproof. The weight of the shoe is reasonable, a little heavy for packing but you need some heft for a decent boot. This is not a sneaker posing as a hiking shoe, but a real hiker that you can wear on the trail.

I bought these just before I went on a hike in the Tongass Rainforest while on vacation in Alaska. I didn’t have a chance to break them in and was worried they would give me painful blisters that would ruin the trip. What a pleasant surprise to find they were a perfect fit with no rubbing anywhere the first time I wore them! I also felt very stable even on hydric ground and mossy areas.

These are very nice hiking shoes, very comfty, they fit true to size, BUT I ordered the brown and the colors look darker in the pic than they are...they are brown but it's kinda a graphite brown, kinda dusty looking brown, lighter than expected. Still a nice shoe!

I like the look of these hiking shoes as I usually go with a different brand and decided to check these out instead. These were comfortable out of the box and fit true to size. They have good arch support and don’t slide on the heel. Another bonus, they don’t look clunky. I’ve worn them several time and they appear to be very durable and given the price point, that’s a huge bonus. Also, the gray is cute and goes with a lot as it’s neutral.

I rarely wear size wide shoes, but these were way too tight. Ended up going up one size, too. Haven’t tried them in the rain yet but they definitely appear to be waterproof. These shoes look stylish and the traction looks perfect.

Got this to help with walking, I have issues with my heels and heard they are very comfortable. Im not so sure about comfort, they are alittle hard to break in to feel great on your feet, I always wanted to try Columbia Brand shoes. Im not so sure if I would ever want to buy another pair. Its made very durable, and great material , looks nice, but just not comfortable wearing, for $90. its not worth it.

Bought these for a cruise to Alaska because was warned it might be very wet. Fortunately, it wasn't very wet, but still wore these on most of the exursions. They were very comfortable. I wear an 8.5 wide and they fit well.

Just wore these every day for two weeks on a tour of Scotland. They worked great for both city walking and long country hikes including a few steep climbs. I did put gel insoles in them for extra comfort, but I'm over 50 so that's to be expected.

These shoes are great! Were my first pair of Columbia shoes and I love them!
