The Allotment Planner: More than 200 ways to transform your plot Notebook – November 7, 2013

I spotted this book in a local garden centre, priced at £14.99, so I looked on Amazon! It's a great book with a monthly list of what you should plant, and other ideas of what to do. There's plenty of room to use the monthly pages for several years to keep a record of successes and failures.

Bought as a gift for my mum, this is a neat planner with a heavyweight, canvas style cover and an elastic strap. It is practical to use as a planner with plenty of space and lots of tips. It was very well received and I have since bought another copy for a friend.

An interesting and educational read

Some lively ideas and well illustrated. But if you are looking for a comprehensive guide to growing vegetables on your allotment this isn't it! Party on your plot! Create a natural playground! Bring out the barbecue! It's all there!
