This area rug came in a vacuum sealed bag and expanded quickly upon opening. The extreme softness is the first noteworthy attribute of this rug. I was concerned about it not laying flat but it flattened out very quickly. It is also pretty thick for what it is. I put it by my washer and dryer and it makes standing doing laundry feel wonderful on my back and feet! The nonskid bottom is very, very good. In fact, I slipped a bit wearing socks on the rug but the rug stayed in place! So I can say with certainty, be careful wearing socks as this rug! It is so soft, it is slippery! Wearing shoes or bare feet, there is no problem. Because of the softness, I had another concern and that was how was this going to look/feel after washing? Well, my dog tracked in some poo on it, so I had the opportunity to also try out washing it not long after receiving it. It looks and feels the EXACT SAME!!! It did have a small odor before I washed it, but after washing, that cleared up nicely. I am so incredibly impressed with everything about this rug! Great quality and made extremely well! I wish I could get a giant, room sized one!

I use it as a bed side rug at work (work on a boat). It's very soft despite being made of synthetic material. Dosnt slide around when stepped on. Also it holds up well to both the washing machine and the dryer.Note: I highly recommend washing it once it arrives to get the factory smell out as well as to help the fibers fluff up and feel nicer to the touch.

This is a very nice looking rug. I got it for my sons room to place beside his bed. We have hardwood floors and they get very cold during the winter months so we all wear slippers. I got him a rug a few years ago to keep his slippers on, well it was starting to look pretty shabby but we couldn’t get rid of it until we had a replacement. If the first thing your feet touch in the morning is freezing cold floor this rug is a must. It’s is so soft and fluffy and super cute. My son absolutely loves the way it feels on his feet he sits there and rubs his feet across it a few times before bed and when he wakes up. He did the same with his previous rug that’s why we couldn’t get rid of it until we found the right one. He’s an only child so he is very spoiled and picky but this rug passed the test.

It is 100 percent polyester except for a sponge material used as the body of the rug.This is nothing like the heavy, absorbent, chenille microfiber rugs that are offered today. I would not use it for a bathroom rug. It is not absorbent except for the sponge base.I got this rug because it is washable. I am using it for an entry rug. It is functioning very well.Since it does not contain latex, it will not stain the kitchen vinyl.The shag of the rug is very light, almost feathery, to the touch. It does not feel thick and luxurious. This is a good place to lay shoes on after entering.The rug could be used as a mat in front of the couch or easy chair if the unusual texture of the rug is pleasing. It is too light in weight for this use as far as I am concerned. The backing does not have any “sticky” feeling, and it does slide around easily on a vinyl floor.The build quality appears to be good. The hemming is uniform and securely applied.This polyester rug earns a 3 for use as an entry way rug. It is too light weight for use in a situation where sliding might be a problem. Definitely not in the bath.I am not a big fan of the non-absorbent “plastic” texture of this rug.

The rug is comfortable on the feet, however it is not a plush as I prefer. I do like the larger size as it cover more of the bathroom surface. Good rug for the price, but not the plushest around.

This is THE comfiest rug for your feet.It is a bit slippery, the top is very very silky but it's not bad at all. The back doesn't appear to let it slide around, which is good. It is on a hardwood floor.We tend to get cat hair/dust/dirt accumulated by the couch. I vacuum, it always comes back! I thought since this rug was so comfy, right in front of the couch, where feet would go, would be perfect. It is!!! It captures hair and dust incredibly well. And it is so easy to clean. And did I say it's comfy? It IS! The cats like it too, meaning you have to watch where you step, but I don't blame them. I might have to get them their own.Initially I was going to put it under my office desk (home) just to have my feet on it because it feels amazing. I then wondered if it could be more practical than me wanting something soft for my feet and where I put it is perfect!

This rug is affordable but it shows. First of all, it does look nice. You can tell the fibers are the color, it's not like it's painted and will wear off. And it is very soft. However the fibers are sewn in very thin lines, the gap between the rows is much wider than the fibers themselves. The rug is very light and took some time before it would lay down flat. As far as non slip, maybe if it was laid on other carpet. If you put this on hardwood or linoleum it may be quite slippery. Overall if you just want it for looks, not a bad choice-especially considering the price. But if you want high quality and durability, maybe not so much. I hope this was helpful.

The rug is perfect size 2x3. It is faux fur, the silky, shiny material but very soft and it doesn't shed. I have not had a chance to wash it yet, but I will on gentle cycle and line dry. I would not advise using it where there will be heavy foot traffic, but otherwise, it's decent enough and looks nice.
