This makes a nice drink and I could see adding it to a gift for someone, but it isn't feasible for regular household use. I could see these being a great gift for a bridal party or teachers. Simply add your liquid of choice and wait for three plus days and drink. It's a pretty simple idea that looks great, tastes pretty good and is giftable. I do think it is overpriced.

As someone who enjoys a good drink, I was excited to try out this Camp Craft Cocktail Mix with Cranberry Martini Style infusion kit. I was intrigued by the promise of serving 8-16 drinks from a single jar. The jar can serve about 8 martini cup size drinks and then I filled the jar again with more vodka to let the infusion cycle start again. The drinks do come out very stiff with pure infused vodka or rum, so if you want more of a cocktail, then it is easy to add it to club soda, ginger beer/ale, or one of your favorite juices. For our second infusion (makes an additional 8 drinks) we tried it with 90 proof rum, and it was a great infused base for tropical rum runners. That being said, what the jar lacks in quantity it more than makes up for in quality. The dehydrated fruit and herbs lend a unique and delicious flavor to the drink, and the kit is incredibly easy to use. Simply add your choice of alcohol and let it sit for a few days to allow the flavors to meld together with the dehydrated Orange, Cranberry, Lemon, and Citrus Infused Non-GMO Vegan Cane Sugar, to create fresh high-quality drinks anywhere. This kit definitely makes enough infused drinks to get you feeling good. The infusion is strong, so you won't need much to feel the effects. In fact, I'd recommend taking it slow with this one. I've used some pre-bought drink mixes before and Camp Craft has done a great job in simplifying the process so anyone can make decent drinks. For my old fashioned, I used some Evan Williams and then simply followed the instructions. Shortly after it was done I had five friends over and we all enjoyed a delightful cocktail.The taste is great, the ingredients are great and the ease of use (pour in the liquor, wait, strain out your drinks) can't be beat.

I tried this mix using hot water. I boiled water, poured it into the jar and let it sit until it became room temperature. I then put the jar into the fridge. After three days, I tried a sip. It tasted awful. It was bitter and all I could taste was the jalapeno. Maybe I did something wrong? No one wanted any more of the drink so I closed the jar and put it back in the fridge.A couple of weeks later, while looking for something else in the fridge, I came across the jar. I decided to try it again before writing my review, expecting it to taste just as bad as it did last time. However, I was pleasantly surprised. It tasted wonderful. It was sweet and tangy, with a strong pineapple flavor, and it had just the right level of heat. Maybe if you're using it with alcohol, you can get away with infusing it for just three days but if you're hoping to make a mocktail using hot water, I found it tastes better if you steep it for longer.The mix looks quite pretty in the jar. This would make a lovely gift for a cocktail enthusiast. However, I feel the price is on the high side for making your own cocktails/mocktails at home.
