It is very hard to go out to eat with my 18 month old. If there is a plate near him he wants the food off of it and the plate on the floor. These stick really well to the table and keeps my daughter from eating or licking the dirty table. The only annoyance is you have to ripe 5 tabs off for the placemat to stick, it would be nice if it was one big tab to rip off. They fold up small and fit in any pocket of your diaper bag.
