Works for small and large dogs!
I’ve tried this with two dogs and it worked perfectly! 35lbs and 55lbs.They can get it open really easily so I put in one treat and do this several times. After about 4 uses, the sand paper is just starting to wear in some areas but overall has really held up. It does come with replacement sandpaper

Works well. Gets stuck with temp changes or moisture.
It took about a week for our dog to get used to using it, but it worked well once she did. The hard thing is that, because it is made of wood, it expands with weather changes. When this happens, it's pretty impossible to move the panel and becomes useless. It's great the rest of the time though.

Mhmm
You have to watch your dog play with this so they don’t over file their nails. You also have to turn it after a while so they can get an even file. You also have to be the one to pull the cord so they can get a treat for using it.

It opens too easily
No resistance to provide decent scratching time. Door opens too easily

Unfortunately, it didn’t last long with my Frenchie! I like that it comes with a replaceable scratch pad, but the top easily slides off causing it to break if you’re not gentle. My puppy became uninterested in scratching the top.

Worth it
Top tier purchase. I have 2 dogs who hate to have their nails clipped. Can touch feet all I want but the moment nail clippers come out, it's game over. Add a high value treat and they catch on in no time.

Nice nail filing method!
The media could not be loaded. This product seems to work pretty well for helping to file down my dog’s nails. I took the photo after his first night of use! He has only used it on his front paws so far, so I think I would maybe need a bigger one for him to use it on all his paws, but we’ll see. I am curious how often people would suggest using it. I am also wondering how often the sandpaper will need to be replaced. Fairly happy with this product overall so far and would recommend to others looking for a new method to try to help file dog’s nails down.

Not good for small pups
It was too hard for my little dog to open and she was more interested in licking it more than scratching it. I had to take it away because I didn’t want her to damage her tongue.
