This item does exactly as shown!! We got this to stop our roommates pitty from coming into our room and eating our kitties food. It works perfectly. Easy to open door and re-latch. The spacing is perfect and allows our cat to come and go as she pleases, but keeps dog out. Easy to install on doorknob, plus super cute looking since it’s a kitty paw lol. Directions were missing but it was easy enough to figure out. Definitely recommend.

I ended up moving into a place that had dogs and I had my cat, well the dogs kept getting into the room and eating the cats food. I didn't want to worry about placing the cat food up high (didn't have a place to do that) so I bought these and they work amazing!! They keep the door open just enough for the cat to come and go but keep the dogs out and the size is adjustable! Dogs are different sizes and it keeps them both out! (pitbull and a shih tzu mix) I would definitely recommend this product to anyone and will definitely be buying them again in the future for my own house!

we bought this because our cat has a HUGE problem with doors. if a we are in another room in the house and she can’t get in there? all bets are off.it keeps the door aiar well, and served it’s purpose, but it doesn’t stay on lever door handles., i’m not sure the best way to fix this, or if it even is something this design even works for, but falls off constanly unless you tie it as above.still keeps the door ajar though

We got this for our cat to be able to go in and out of rooms in our house, but to keep our dog out of the litter box and food areas. It works GREAT and is a LIFE CHANGER. The money we save on cat food and litter (that was eaten by the dog) makes up for the price of this.

This is so easy to use! I bought them to use on the doors in and out of the laundry room...AKA Cat room.All was well until one of them broke. The little metal piece that screws in broke out of the screw hole taking the grommet with it. I've tried super gluing it back in but I don't have a lot of faith it will last long.
