Feb. 2014-Allergist suggested Umcka based on a series of tests of cold care products. Umcka was 53% successful in easing symptoms compared with a number of other cold care products. I take it twice a day and prefer liquid form unless I am away from home. I take tablets when away from home. I am highly allergic and prone to colds. I have not had a cold since I began taking Umcka. I recommended Umcka to brother and sister in law when they were traveling to visit family over the hoidays, as their sons and families of 11 members were suffering from rampant colds. Brother and sister in law caught nothing. They swear by Umcka. It is certainly worth a try. The 8 ounce liquid definitely lasts longer than tablet form.Dec. 2014- I've been taking Umcka daily for 10 months, on my allergist's recommendation because my immune system is compromised. During an average year, by now, I ordinarily would have had at least two or three bouts with colds and bronchitis and at least two rounds of antibiotics. No colds, no bronchitis, no antibiotics since I started taking Umcka. If I feel a sore throat coming on, I gargle with apple cider vinegar in warm water, and add a second or third daily dose of Umcka. I'll post again in another couple of months. I've recommended it to many, many family members and friends. All who have tried it find it definitely helpful!

I always keep umcka on hand. As soon as we start feeling ill (sore throat or sinus issues) we take it as directed & we either don’t get sick or the sickness doesn’t last as long. Since first purchasing this I thankfully haven’t gotten sick in over a year. This particular one is cheaper on Amazon than at our local natural food stores. I now take this instead of Emergen-C or anything similar to that. This is the best tasting could syrup I’ve ever had, no medicine/bitter taste at all. All flavors taste great & even the mint one tastes great too! I even took the alcohol-free one while being pregnant. This cough/cold syrup is amazing & really works!

This is the best cold, congestion and allergy fighter that I have found. It doesn't seem to get rid of the problems for me, but certainly makes the symptoms better and easier to live with. The taste is very pleasant and not cough syrupy. I have recommended this remedy to many people and all of them have been very pleased with the results. This was a wonderful savings as it was almost twice the amount for a little more than 4 ounces in the store. This has no alcohol and is non drowsy. I haven't tried the other flavors or the ones with alcohol so don't know if they work differently. Have been very pleased with this preparation and will purchase again.

This product is amazing! The taste is great, doesn’t taste like medicine at all. Every time I feel a cold coming on, I start taking it and either it doesn’t continue or it’s a light and short cold. I swear by Umcka!

This is the best product for cold symptoms.

This works really well at either reducing or preventing coughs and colds, but you have to start using it at the first sign of a cold--as in, I think I may be getting something; not at the stage where you know you have something. If you use if after you have major cold symptoms (as opposed to just the start of a sore throat or feeling "bleh"), I haven't found it to do much at all. My kids love the taste and it goes down easily.

I LOVE this stuff! I take it when I feel a cold coming on and within 3-4 days its gone! No more having to suffer for a week or more, and no more feeling drowsy and drugged, then waking the next day feeling awful and hung-over. This does none of that. It soothes the sore throat, slows the runny nose, helps the stuffy nose, tastes great and all without side affects. Winner Winner!! I have given this to my 90 year old mother and young grand-daughters with no complaints, side affects, or drug reactions. They all loved it and symptoms improved in only a few days! Yay! I keep this stuff coming to our house. I have a special needs daughter that seems to be susceptible to common colds. We start using this at the first signs, coughing, runny nose, and she actually likes the taste of it (cherry syrup) and can tolerate it well. I feel like it really reduces the time that she suffers from cold symptoms. It doesn't completely stop the cold from coming, but really reduces the misery. I would recommend this for kids or for those that can't tolerate the nasty tasting stuff, and for us it's very effective.
