New Version 52V 750w Tongsheng TSDZ2 ebike Kit Mid Motor,with Torque Sensor,Throttle/Brake/Front Light Included

It took me and my friend a few hours, but it worked. We had to improvise with a few washers to fill up the gap for the piece that connects the motor to the bottom bracket. The wiring diagram is not in the manual, but it's in the Amazon photo, so check there! The wire to the battery didn't match the plug I got for the battery. But I cut all wires to length, used crimp/shrink to connect and shrink tube to hold. I'll probably use a glue gun to seal it from water. I love the front light so much I ordered a separate rear light. Everything works and works well.

The media could not be loaded.  After assembly and a short ride, I noticed wobble in the chainring and after a google search found this to be a "feature" on some of these motors due to "loose specs" on the torque sensor. Don't know how common this is but it's definitely a an irritant to a smooth ride, kind of like having a loose crank. There are fixes for this on the internet, and I solved the problem on this unit though I'm pretty sure warranty is void now. Would recommend this unit again if not for the wobbly torque sensor.As an update, after discussions with seller, an new unit arrived today seemingly with much less wobble in sensor so kudos to Eco Cycles for standing behind their product.

Forget any warranty, you are working directly with China. A month or so after I received this unit, I was happy with its performance but unhappy with its loudness. I contacted seller and he said this is normal and offered me a $20 refund. Now, after 9 months, it completely died. I followed there troubleshooting instructions, but it is just dead. They told me to send it to a company in Tennessee to repair at the cost of $100.00 for shipping. Their warranty is useless and because they are a 3rd party seller, you have no recourse through Amazon.

I really like the torque sense pedal assist, it feels great. Putting it together was not too hard. I wanted to install on a road bike so did not install brake cut out, throttle or remote. I tested by plugging in the throttle - but apparently that doesn't work without the brakes. Be aware that the plugs for the throttle and brakes can be inserted upside down causing errors on the display. This happened to me and I reached out to the seller who was very helpful and responsive. Good product, good experience.

I am having a lot of fun with this.One problem, it would not fit on my Diamond mountain bike so I bought a $50 used Trek and installed it on that instead.This motor needs you to pedal with some force to go which is why I like it. You still get good exercise riding your bike but you can go way faster than normal.The power wires leading to the motor are not very big so I shortened them to an inch long and soldered directly to my battery leads.There is open source firmware available which I am going to install at some point but for now I am going with what came with the system.I am not happy that the built in firmware only supports kilometers and not miles but that is my only gripe so far.

After about 150 miles, the motor started getting hot and making a noise. Contacted them and they sent me a new motor within a week. Overall a good kit for the money.

Easy install and excellent torque sensing makes for an enjoyable ride for my wife and me.

I would have rated this with five stars but their customer service seems to be lacking I sent them an email a couple months ago trying to find out if they had a protective cover for the digital display at the time I am writing this review they still have NOT responded to me and the digital display is starting to deteriorate and beginning to be hard to read
