Works great with Sennheiser 6XX
This little DAC/AMP combo provides more than enough power for my Sennheiser 6XX.Pros:No setup is required, just a simple plug-and-play with my Windows 10 PC, Samsung A54, and Samsung Tab S7 Plus (I assume it would work for all Android devices as well). The sound is very clear and adds some warmth to all of my headphones. The casing is metal and the build quality seems great so farIt looks good and the clear window adds a touch of coolVery smallThere is one very small inconvenience. The volume buttons on the side are pretty much useless. Each press of a button changes the volume VERY little so changing the volume with those buttons is a small pain. When plugging it in for the first time, I recommend holding the Volume Up power button for a few seconds until it reaches max volume (or wherever you prefer), and then using the volume adjustment on your PC/phone to change the volume.I thought mine was defective at first because I didn't hear anything after I plugged it in, and pressing the volume up button didn't do anything. It took 2 or 3 seconds of holding the volume up button until I heard something.Overall great device. Highly recommend especially for the power and sound quality for the small size and very reasonable price.

Good budget dongle
For those on a budget looking to increase the sound quality of their music, this dongle does not disappoint. Combine it with CCA C12 IEM and you have an excellent combination. I have another, higher quality DAC dongle and the sound quality between the two is not highly noticeable. The reason I give it 4 stars are 2, no app to fine tune and all you get is an up/down volume button. But if you're looking to just upgrade your listening experience then this will do the job.

Wow, this is really good
My second Sonata BHD Pro (for the road, the other for home use). The sound is incredible, separation and details are amazing, and the price for this is incredible. I have a number of USB DACs, including the Audioquest Dragonfly Cobalt, and this is just so much better, and under a quarter of the original price of the Cobalt. Recommended.

*Update: volume rocker is broken.* First portable DAC. Amazing for the size.
Update 2024-03-08:The volume has broken on my device. It seems the volume rocker is created by two buttons that are installed onto the main PCB, but I'm not even sure these buttons are soldered. I unscrewed the DAC and found that one button came off completely and cannot be put back. I checked the other button and there doesn't appear to be any soldering or anything else to hold it in place besides metal clips. I reached out to the manufacturer a week ago but haven't heard back. However, I'm not hopeful: a few months ago I reached out about firmware updates but never received a response.Such a bummer because this has been a permanent part of my portable music experience since receiving it back in October 2023. While the sound is great, the manufacturing and support quality leave a great deal to be desired. I'm still giving it 2 stars because of how well this performs when it's working properly. I will update this review if I hear from TempoTec.Original review:My source player is a Samsung Galaxy Note8 with USB Audio Player, and my headphones are Technics EAH-TZ700. First, the physical product: at first I thought the window was a screen but appears only to be for cosmetic purposes to show the electronics inside. The LED is helpful when playing music from different sources; each color represents the different frequency and/or other status. Otherwise, it’s a simple DAC that comes with a short USB-C cable and has both a 3.5 and 4 mm jack inputs.I tested this using Technics TZ700 headphones both with the stock 3.5 mm cable and a third-party 4.4 mm balanced cable. The DAC makes both sound wonderful. I’ve researched DACs before and read it’s one of the first upgrades to make to a sound system after having good source files/media and headphones; I now know why. I’ve listened to a broad range of music and I can tell major differences with some songs and minor with others. Having it loud doesn’t hurt my ears either; the DAC separates the instruments and voices so well. The volume rocker could be a bit taller; at times, I found myself finding it without trying to look. Otherwise, it works well and fits easily in my Pelican case with my IEMs.

Nice audio upgrade for laptop
I've been using Sennheiser HD-600 and the BHD Pro with a Win11 laptop and Foobar2000. Playback of all my DSF and FLAC tracks has been flawless. The DSD Processor in Foobar works very well in combination with the TempoTec USB ASIO driver. There is plenty of usable volume for the HD600 using the 4.4mm jack and the audio quality is on par with my other standalone DAC's and amps.I am very happy with this device when using it in the way described above.

Defective
I have ordered 2 of these dongle dacs and both are defective. The single ended output works fine but the balanced output fails when turned up passed half way. The sound fades out and static takes over. The first one died shortly after this. I stopped using the second one before it died for fear it would damage my IEM's.

Unbelievable!
$70 dollars, this is amazing for $70 dollars, the size of your thumb (smaller thumb that is), equal to a mid level system. I bought it for Saturday mornings when I wanted to keep it quiet for those sleeping later. It’s so good, so simple.Worth much more than it’s present price. Honestly a fantastic value for right now, how’s it sound ? 10 times better than you would expect, nice clean top end, very decent mid, bass is a bit thick, but it adds to an intimate presentation that’s enjoyable for hours at a time. Great audio buy for 2023.
