Bad Picture Quality
I gave Boon a three-star rating because the picture quality is bad in some episodes. It's a brilliant series but Network need to stop conning us with bad DVD qualilty. There's times when there's writing on the screen such as the title sequence, the board when the commercials started and ended as it was when it was shown on TV and the end credits, the writing is surrounded with bad computer graphics. There's also dots on the screen when the picture quality is bad where it also looks like VHS quality worse than 480p.

Men Behaving Brilliantly!
A classic show, and a personal favourite of mine. 93 episodes in all its glory, combining drama, humour and pathos in almost equal measure. An abso!ute must for fans of Michael Elphick, Neil Morrissey and David Daker as well as all the co stars and guest appearances by luminaries such as Timothy Spall, Tim Healy, Dennis Waterman and James Bond. Yes, That is Daniel Craig in series 7! If you've never seen this show, get this collection, and watch it unfold over seven years! If you are already a fan, then watch with a warm glow of nostalgia! (As I do) Housed in a Texas Ranger style box, it features no less than 28 discs..! At a reasonable price only on Amazon. I'll see yer!

Good trip down memory lane
Saw this on tv a couple of year ago and it brought back memories so i have decided to buy the full dvd boxset to see them again with no bits of episodes cut out, star main and guest cast and mostly shot on location with a brill theme tune. You just dont get tv programmes like this now

Hi Ho Silver - the one-trick pony
Bought this box set on the strength of memories from the original series in the 1980s. Those memories were rekindled in the first couple of series but from then on...I don't like to be cruel - least of all knowing how much better and wiser we are these days ;-) but the last few series - the last 12 disks or so were almost painful to watch: Harry has business idea. Ken is sceptical. Ken falls in love with female client. Rocky has long hair and is thick. New female assistant makes herself useful. All's well that ends well.Biggest mystery is how long they continued to flog a dead horse.Best bit is probably Rocky's Norton.Audio/visual quality seems acceptable to me, although technology's probably moved on in the time it's taken to force myself to watch the latter series.Watch the first couple of series but then let bygones be bygones.Sorry
