Q: Anyone fit a 13" Macbook Air in this pack?

I have not tried to put a macbook air but yeah I think you can fit one in there. My computer was bigger and it fits in the backpack.

Q: Does this have an area for a hydration pack? Or does one need to be attached?

Yes, there's a zipper compartment that allows for a small hydration pack which is not included.

Q: Can you switch shoulders strap to right shoulder?

No... Red Rock doesn't make the version for the other shoulder. The original design from Maxpedition (called the Sitka) has one switched the other way.

Q: Will this fit a 15" Macbook Pro comfortably?

Not exactly.Rambler - Width: 8.5Mac 15 - Depth: 9.73And even sadder if the laptop in its own carrying case.
