Dimensional Machine Embroidery: 10+ Specialty Techniques for Amazing Results

I'm surprised that in the previous reviews there is no mention of a lack of the advertised CD (or DVD). This e-book is in the Kindle Store, and it is plainly stated that it is the Kindle version of the book. I know what you are thinking, how can anyone expect to receive a CD that comes with a book when that book is an e-book? That's why I wrote to Amazon to ask if I would receive the CD in the mail. The listing plainly says this is a Book and DVD. All Amazon CS could say is that I could return the e-book, and give me a credit. Nice, but it doesn't solve the problem of not being able to access the 18 designs on the disc (whichever kind it is). So Amazon probably is just taking the description of the printed book, and using it for the Kindle edition without even thinking about leaving off the part about the included DVD (or is it CD?). They need to make this plain. The book is full of beautiful designs that I can only look upon. I can't print them out from my Kindle. More than one section of the e-book talks about "The DVD that accompanies this book..." I'll have to ask Deborah about this. I doubt she even knows that Amazon is selling the book this way.

I read the book, cover to cover and honestly doubt if I will complete any of the projects. They just are not something that would go with my décor, but the processes might help on some other future projects. I did get the CD with the tutorials and designs. I might use the designs in different ways.

I love the book, But watch where you buy the book from. I thought I was getting the book and DVD , the book was in excellent shape but the DVD was missing. I tried to contact the owner of the book shop but they would charge me shipping and a return fee which was more than the book. So I have a book I really can't use. I would suggest be very careful of where you buy books. I use Amazon when ever I can.

I purchased this for some help with ideas and helpful instruction with some of my existing designs so that I can make items for the craft shows for next year. The bonus designs are great but were just that, a bonus. Most of what you buy really don't come with a lot of instruction and I have little time for chat rooms and forums. Great idea for me!

The book describes several techniques and ideas for projects that appeal to me. Thank you for having such a lovely book for sale.

THIS IS A VERY GOOD BOOK EVEN THOUGH I HAVENT GOT THE CHANCE TO USE IT BECAUSE MY SEWING MACHINE BROKE. YOU DONT NEED A FANCY EMBROIDERY MACHINE TO DO THIS JUST NEED A ZIG ZAG MACHINE AND YOU CAN USE AN EMBROIDERY HOOP I BELIEVE OR JUST DI IT FREE HAND THX MEDICINE

Teaches dimensional sewing techniques on the embroidery machine. Perfect for someone learning to machine embroidery.

I haven't actually used this book yet, but I've read through it and the instructions seem clear. I like the looks of the results of the various techniques and I'm anxious to try some of them out.

Disappointed with this book, don't think it is vaule for money and the video don't cover all the prodjects and also if watch closely enough you will see she will skip the parts you will find difficult to do.gave 2 stars as there are a few things to do.

Very helpful, technical tips. A must read mostly for beginners.
