First of all, these lights are fantastic. Very very bright at 8000 lumen. The app is easy to use and offers good options. I did have one light that failed to change color and be controlled but the seller immediately sent out a replacement. That's great service.

What is up-lighting? Well, if you've been to a wedding or large party venue in the last 10 years you may have noticed the narrow streams of lights facing upward from the floor to the ceiling on the walls and blinking or reacting to the music. Those are professional up - lights which are used by most DJs today. If you are looking for that product then this is NOT what you want. These are flood lights which produce a wide angle of light and "flood" the area with color.That said as far as flood lights go, these are not only really cool but they are the best priced flood lights I have seen for the money. They are extremely bright on a stage from the ceiling or just to accent out door things around your home. Right now I am using them for 2 different purposes - I use 3 lights outside with my Christmas lights to light up the palm trees in front of my home by placing them on the ground - facing up into the trees. It looks amazing and my neighbors are a little jealous. The fourth one I use on stage to light up the area and bounce with the music beat. They are perfect for almost any space you need to light and at a nice price compared to the ones you'd find in a lighting or music equipment store.

Very Bright, Loaded with lots of great Features, Great for the money. I do read in the other reviews that they do not last outside. I will keep on eye on this. I will put some outdoor caulking on the edges. I hope that helps. Bought Oct 3, 2023.

Outside Christmas lights

Bought both the Daylight and Warm White 80W equivalent to use as aquarium lights. I ended up preferring the spectrum of the Daylight.Quality.Construction seems good, the light feels sturdy, cast iron housing, and glass cover.The glass is clipped to the housing, but there doesn't seem to be any gasket sealing the LED's so I'm not sure just how resilient these will be to moisture or humidity. I'm tempted to add a bead of silicone, to seal it, but hesitant to possibly void the warranty.AppThe app works well, and is easy to set up and control the lights.I wish that there was a way to control the white light along with the RGB diodes. When you use the RGB sliders to add color to your light you lose a lot of the overall brightness from the white channels.Timing featuresBasic timing features seem good enough, able to add multiple on off schedules, but wish there was a way to set a group schedule. If there is, I haven't figured it out yet.Overall I'm happy with the quality and features for the price, will up date once I've had a chance to see how they hold up.

Edit: the company reached out to me to give these a second chance. When these worked they were great I until water got into all 4 lights I was using. After looking over the first set I can only assume the water made it into the unit around the glass where it looks like there is a rubber seal which should of kept the water out. I plan on using clear silicone in this area so hopefully I won’t have the same issues. I will put them out for Halloween and Christmas to see how they hold up. I give the company A+ for customer service and the product 5 stars for how well they work with the exception of how long they last outdoors. Hopefully this set will earn the 5 star rating with out any exception.I bought theses to put in my trees for the holidays but they only lasted about 6 months. Over that time frame they were used for about 6 hours a night over 40 days. While they worked they were great. But due to the price and the amount of time they lasted they were not a good buy I would look for something that has has a true outdoor rating.Two of the lights have visual water inside of them the other do not but don’t work.They no longer connect to the app and do not come on. If you brought them inside at night time you might be able to get more use out of them than I did. I had them mounted in my trees outside from middle of October until Easter.

These lights are BRIGHT. I purchased a 4 pack, then another 2 pack and now this two pack. Easy to use with the app on your phone. You can group multiple light and set different color features, brightness and on/off times for each group or each individual light. Great for indoor and outdoor and the app has different holiday settings or you can customize the colors, intensity, flash or fade features.

The media could not be loaded.  These lights were great when I first got them. I put them outside in a semi protected area and they provide a lot of light. The app is also easy to setup and use. The big problem is that after a couple of months one of them went out and only a few LEDs blink when I try to turn them on. I don’t want to have to replace these every few months to keep themWorking. I’ll look somewhere else for a more durable light.
