Works perfectly for camping and emergency use
This power backup works fantastically for overnight camping trips as well as powering cell phones and computers during power outages.Pros:1. Very quick to charge and has a 4-color user interface which is bright and very simple to understand..no need to guess how much charge the unit holds!2. Very portable unit. We used ours on two camping trips already! It worked perfectly for charging four phones and four iPads during a weekend trip away from standard power sources. If we had the optional solar panels for recharging the unit, am sure this would work great for even longer camp outings!3. Worked great during a power outage from a t-storm..it easily powered two laptop computers through an entire workday and also four iPhones. Very nice to have this available as we otherwise would not have been able to power our laptops once their batteries drained out4. For the functionality and the amount of power supplied, this was a great unit to buy.5. Built like a tank!! I think we could have dropped it out of a moving vehicle and it would have still worked!6. Comes with a manual which is actually helpful as well as written in easy to understand terms.Cons:1. It is heavy (see #5 above), so if you have to carry this a long distance, one might want to have a roller bag to put it inside (or a rolling cooler maybe, but make sure you don’t get this wet as I don’t think it is super waterproof!)2. Wish we had the solar panels for this, but those are fairly expensive. I would say that if the unit included one solar panel for recharging or maybe had a discount code for buying panels that would make it an even better buy and also better for using on longer camping outings.Overall I absolutely would recommend this unit for its extremely durable manufacturing as well as the user friendliness of the interface and product manual.

Compact but lots of power
We routinely go grocery shopping and have to drive 45min from home some times and go to several places to maximize our time for the day. Because we may get perishable or frozen foods we can't leave in a hot vehicle we have a power ice chest that can get down into the 40 degree range we take with us, and it works great using 12v DC in the car going but we can't leave it plugged in when not running as it will drain the battery over time, so we got this portable power station to take with us and it has been a huge success. I now use the car to drop the temp on the trip there and then switch to this power station, using the standard AC able and we can shop and store groceries for almost 4 hours without it draining this battery, and then switch back to the 12v DC for trip home. I also like the clear LED read outs so you know exactly how much power you have and the current battery status; others I had looked at had much more basic details. For charging, I usually let it run overnight, but it takes around 4hrs to completely charge if drained I think. I am getting a solar panel for next summer to put in the car window, so it can charge while using to extend the usage time even longer. This has really been of a huge value to us and works great, we would highly recommend it.

Great for the price!
This is an insanely good value for what you are getting on this power station. I own several power stations and most of them cost more than this one, but this one competes well and even exceeds the quality of several others I have that cost more. The all metal case is really cool, and the display is much nicer than most of the others I have. Being able to charge via the USB PD port makes charging super fast and super convenient too! THIS is a feature that many other units in this price range do not offer, and its a BIG ONE. Some of my other ones can take 6-8 hours to charge and require a special 120v low amp dc charger. If you are looking for a good quality AND a great value... THIS IS IT!

Charging-Will Not Charge In A Power Strip
Update:I contacted the seller, but the seller could not explain why the unit will not charge when you plug it into a surge protect. I have Another power bank. I plug it into the into the surge protect it while charging and it charges just fine. I am returning the unit as I am not sure and the seller could not say if it might be an electrical issue. The unit will not charge in a power strip and even if you only have four things in the power strip and plug it into the unit, it just flashes on and off and beeps. I know it is not the power strip because I tested it with a lamp. Having to plug each item individually is not a big deal just time consuming when the power goes out while you are in the middle of a project, but not being able to secure it in a power strip when charging, at the cost for this unit, this one is a hard know and will be returned. Very disappointed.

A terrific portable power source
This equipment is top notch. It charges up fully from empty in about two hours with 110 input. I like that I can re-charge using my solar panel. It is light and compact for the power this puts out. A comparable power supply, with battery and power inverter from just a few years ago is twice the size and 4 times the weight. I re-charge with solar energy and run this daily for lighting, music amplifiers, computers and more. Cuts down on the electric bill. And it's very portable.

Decent solar generator but now a brick.
This seemed to be a good size and proper power for what I needed it for (run a 12v fridge freezer) but after the 2nd charge cycle, it won't charge. I'm outside the return window so now I have a $300 brick.

AC button is a little difficult to figure out.
Overall not bad. I like the led screen. Runs small items. Still haven't figured out the AC button. Push it several times before it actually will turn AC mode.
