Lume became a well known brand during the pandemic as they were all over the media as one of the 'go to' lights for videoconferencing. They actually make a wide range of lighting products for workspaces, content creation, photography, video and--yes--remote work and videoconferencing. This light is an extremely versatile light that I've used extensively for content creation and videoconferences/calls. Lume doesn't 'reinvent the wheel' (or in this case the ring) and the form factor will be very familiar. That said, Lume delivers much higher quality and performance than many of the countless ring lights, video lights, etc. that I've tried.Right out of the box, you can use it in a number of ways. There's a smartphone clip so you can mount your phone in the center of the light. You can use it with the included legs in a traditional tripod configuration or mount it on the side of your desk with the included clamp. I prefer the clamp option since one of the downsides of ring lights is they don't travel particularly well. There's an optional portable battery grip but the problem isn't the power supply--it's the ring light form factor. This light is much more durable than most ring lights but for frequent use on the road there are probably better options.The light it delivers is excellent and highly configurable. You can change color temp and brightness with the on-light controls as shown in the product description. If you want a higher end ring light for more serious photography you can graduate to the Ring Light Pro. Like all Lume products, it's well made and durable and should a problem occur they've got great customer service. You can't go wrong with Lume. Highly recommended!

I have a online boutique so I am constantly using this. I wish the stand was a little more stable and could be used outside as well. This is good for indoors, but I have a different one for when shooting outfits outdoors.

My wife has become somewhat well-known on certain social media and streaming sites so is always having me look for items to help improve her media. She has used other ring lights but told me she loves how easy this one is to use and really enjoys using it with her different social media platforms.She loves how easy it is to setup and how the tripod is very stable. She loves that she can adjust the height of the light ring and adjust the phone holder as well.She loves that she can change the ambient lighting to adjust it to make her look her best and that it has a 3200-5600K temperature range.She loves that its USB powered and has the switch for on/off as well as brightness and modes on the USB plug itself.She loves how strong the phone holder is and how she can adjust it to all kinds of angles.She loves the smart LED screen that is built-in and lets her see her settings instantly.And she loves that the tripod is very stable and stays right where she needs it.Definitely a well-made, solid, easy to use and functional Ring Light with Tripod Stand and Phone Holder from Lume Cube that my wife really loves to use. 5 out of 5 stars.

While I wanted to love it it does not hold the phones and immediately falls over wiht even the smallest of tilts. Great if only need straight on.

Lume Cube's Edge Lit Ring Light arrived very nicely boxed and protected. The box has custom cut out foam inserts and can be re-used to store the ring light and accessories.The light and accessories are all very nicely made from high quality materials and everything looks and feels robust and sturdy.The 3-feet fold out stand with telescoping arm is stable and offers a wide range of adjustment. You can also connect the ring light directly to a desk with the included clamp. The light is powered via USB-C cable and there is a wall adapter included and a long cable. The holder in the center of the light easily accommodates my iPhone 12 Mini.The Lume Cube is very easy to use. There is a rocker power switch on the side and two wheels to adjust color temperature and brightness. Brightness adjusts from 1-100. A display on the black shows the current settings.The ring light is very effective at lighting both video and stills. It creates an even and flattering light that reduces shadows and harsh contrast. The light adjusts in a multitude of positions and locks securely into place making it easy to find the right position for your subject to look its best.All in all... a great ring light.

This is flimsy, cheaply made, the pieces don’t fit together well, the light is floppy, and generally very low quality. I can’t believe how much it is for what you get.

Nice aesthetics. way above other ring lights. I like that everything has a standard screw mounts. It is not bright enough and joints should be stronger. but at this price function should be better. still problems with holding a heavy phone that points straight down. And not bright. no phone remote either

I wasn't expecting much, but it exceeded what I hoped for. This light is definitely versatile, but it's true beauty lies in how bright it is plus the tripod is surprisingly nice. And if you remove the pole from the main tripod, you can actually slide it into (round only) monitor arms!!! Which means you can have it right above your monitor and can have your webcam in the center to focus on you. And I really like that.Pros* Bright!!* Wonderful tripod and tension setting* Warm and cool brightnessCons* Surprisingly big, but that isn't a bad thing! Can hold a cell phone or your web cam.Overall, I'm REALLY happy I got this and use it almost every day for zoom meetings and quick shots. I definitely recommend adding this into any lights kit for professional photos and/or meetings.
