FOX Racing Front Mountain Bike Mudguard

The best mudguards around!DELIVERY & PACKAGING - this item was delivered very quickly in just over a day, it was posted through the letterbox in a small waterproof package.MATERIAL - the mudguard is made from a bendy plastic but is hard and durable enough to shield against mud, dirt, water and debris when fixed into position.INSTALLATION & USE - can be quite tricky to install if it's your first time, I have installed many in the past but for the first time user I would suggest watching a youtube tutorial, there are plenty online. The mudguard comes as a flat profile but needs to be bent and shaped into its position and held there with zip ties. The only downside to this item is that it doesn't come with zip ties that are needed to attach the mudguard to the bike. When it is secured to the bike on the front wheel frame it provides an excellent shield to mud and water that flicks up from the wheels. It is durable enough to stay in position when riding the bike on trails, the material is even durable enough to deflect small stones and chipping from flicking up.PRICE - Not the cheapest of mudguards that are available in the same style, but Fox are a very good brand and I like the logo and styles of their mudguards.

It's perhaps not clear that one side has a white outline of the tilted fox racing fox head, and the other has the square set grey fox head, so you can choose the logo/colourway you like to be facing up/out for the world to see. Cheap postage as it's just a flat sheet of plastic, shame it doesn't come with the four cable ties it needs, but maybe keen MTBers should have their own for changing parts over when needed anyway.There's no difference between this one and most cable tie affixed front mudguards of this style, but I have used Fox Racing's great quality gloves, clothing, pads and rucksacks for years when mountain biking so I wanted my front mudguard to match the logo on my gloves etc and give this quality brand props/credit/a nod to people who see the bike even if I'm not on it in their kit.Not bad at all for a fiver.
