[My personal motivations for the KJV translation.] Setting all pride aside, in a search to understand God’s word as completely as we as God’s mortal subjects are able, I’ve come to this opinion: As a cradle-to-grave Catholic Christian, I firmly believe no single Bible translation fully reveals God’s word to us. Their Scofield KJV Bible encapsulates everything I could possibly hope and have in a KJV study Bible. Now I just need to get smarter how to use the Scofield KJV study Bible. We bought as a Father’s Day gift for my husband and it was exactly what he always wanted with a scofield bible. Wide margins to write his notes and large print are perfect.
