A+++ Traction, Easy to Install too
SZ492 is the size you need for a 37x12.5 Tire (like a humvee take-off) they fit beautifully. I previously had them on 35's and although they fit, they were very loose and I ended up using two cable ties per tire to try and take up the slack. I think their sizing information is a little off. Regardless, I am very happy with them on a 37" tall tire. Easy to install, just wrap them around, two "clip ins" per tire, and string up the rubber tensioner. Maximum of 5 minutes for both tires, couldnt be easier.I got the chance to use them, put them on the FRONT of my K10 with a spartan locker and wow....these things are like cheating. I was driving on straight ice and almost no slipping or sliding. I even TOWED ANOTHER CAR UP A SHEET OF ICE!! and dont even think I spun at all.I am sold on these things, I may order another set so all 4 tires can have chains, but just having them on the front was like driving around with spikes in your tires, amazing traction for the ice. The only thing is they are quite harsh to ride on and speeds need to be kept below 15mph or the vibration gets pretty bad, but that goes for most snow chains

easy install and they work excellently
I used these cable chains for my 16 foot box van. I think it weighs about 10000 lbs. It's really herky Without chains, I get stuck VERY easily in snow, ice, and mud. After a little practice, it became very easy to put these things on. I climbed a very steep, very slippery hill, and went back down it later with zero trouble. I even slammed on the brakes going down it and only slid like 10 ft.However NOTE: It is a dually, and found it very, very, difficult at best to get them on according to their instructions, but I don't think they're meant for duallies anyway. But I figured out if I drape the chains over the top and reach my hands in through the large openings in the rims to fasten the backside buckle thingy, then it was really easy. So I wouldn't recommend for duallies unless you have similar openings or if they're designed to go over both wheels. All that being said, I am very happy with them. easy install, they do their job really well, and the quality seems robust.

Can't imagine plowing our icy hill without them
I've spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on different chain sets and cleats. All have been useful, but only the Super Z8's have had the magic combination of: a) Good grip on snow, bare ice, and also mud, b) Can be installed without moving the truck, even if you're already stuck, c) do not require re-tensioning after driving a few hundred yards, d) compact storage bags, and e) relatively easy to put on.With these on the truck, I'm fearless. Now I can plow over the side of a steep bank to push the snow out of the way for the next storm, and then just back right up. It's crazy. Though it's still possible to get stuck, though. For example, if you drive up onto a soft snow bank and then sink in up to the truck bed (tried that two weeks ago -- oops).Caveats are that if you're already stuck, you have to completely dig out any tire that you want to install them on, which stands to reason, and "easy to put on" is a relative term. You have to get the right size for the tire, which SCC will help with if you call them or download their chart, and you'll have to snug them into place by hand before applying the tensioners, and then the tensioners themselves will take some swearing and muscle power. That said, I've never been unable to get the chains on, even on a set that was one size too small for the tires. It just required more snugging to get the chains as close to the hub as possible, and then more grip strength. The chains are still inconvenient, even if it takes only ten minutes to put them on, but that said, I can't imagine useful chains being any easier to use. If you want to drive a 6,000 pound truck over the side of a frozen bank, you're going to need chains that stay on the tires, and that requires some reasonable tension.

Seems well built
SZ492 fit my 37” Mud tires pretty well I think. They also seem to be of good quality. Hopefully won’t ever have to use them, but at least I have something decent that’s super easy to install when we hit the mountains. Also purchased an extra two pack of the elastic tensioners as some reviews mention that they can break.

Needs a tool to install Tensioners
I did a good bit of research on Tire Cable Chains for my Ram 1500 truck. I liked the Quality Chain cable chains but thought the Security Cable Chains would be easier to install. I bought the Security Cable Chains. They are generally pretty easy to install. With one big issue for us older and not as strong folks. It was almost impossible to stretch the rubber Tensioner across the cable chains. The rubber tensioner is pretty big in diameter and really takes some strength to stretch it. It did not used to be a problem for me. But now that I am older, or for women, it is REALLY hard to stretch this tensioner. I ended up purchasing a tool from Security Chain Corp. that they sell for they chains, to use on my Security Chain Company cable chains. It allows me to more easily stretch the tensioners. I REALLY think that Security Chain should offer a tool to ease the installation of the tensioners for us less strong folks.

Easy install, great traction
Got tired of the struggle with V chains , they work great but new trucks don’t offer the clearance to make installing easy. These chains are sooooo quick and easy to install. Followed the sizing guide and the fit was perfect. I did have some concerns about how the chains would grip but it turned out the traction is great!!

Great product but doesn’t work on many pick up tires
Great product for most vehicles however for pick up with larger all terrain M&S tires Cross coils get stuck in wider tread causing adjacent cross coil to become very loose which will hit vehicle even for vehicle that does not require specification “S” chains. This issue common however not advertised.
