“The Mandalorian: The Complete Second Season” collects episodes 9-16 of the series that captured “Star Wars” fans’ imaginations just like the Expanded Universe novels of the 1990s. The second season picks up with Navarro mostly pacified and Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal, Lateef Crowder, Brendan Wayne) seeking out other Mandalorians. He initially meets Cobb Vanth (Timothy Olyphant), who first appeared in Chuck Wendig’s 2015 novel, “Aftermath,” and wears familiar armor. Din helps Vanth in exchange for the armor’s return. As he and the child continue their travels, they meet a real Mandalorian: Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff), who previously appeared in “The Clone Wars” and “Rebels.” She tries to explain to Din that his interpretation of Mandalorian culture is just one of many. Meanwhile, Din returns to Navarro to help Greef Karga (Carl Weathers) liberate it from the last of the Imperial Remnant, which sheds more light on Moff Gideon’s (Giancarlo Esposito) plans. Din seeks out a Jedi to return the child to its people. He meets Ahsoka Tano (Rosario Dawson), who seeks Morgan Elsbeth (Diana Lee Inosanto), one of Grand Admiral Thrawn’s loyalists. Ahsoka helps Din to learn more about the child, Grogu. They travel to a Jedi ruin, but Gideon returns to capture Grogu. Bereft, Din recruits allies – including the most famous Mandalorian of all – to help him rescue Grogu, leading to a phenomenal conclusion.This Steelbook set is a great way for fans to bring this series to their home video collection. Bonus features include an a look at the production design of the New Republic from Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, and more along with a look at the artistic direction of Mandalore and the covert. It also includes exclusive art cards.

I love having a physical copy of my media I love. On top of that we get a steelbook as well.Mandalorian is one of the best Star Wars titles to come out in recent memory and I love that they decided to put out a physical copy for everyone. Now I can enjoy it with our without a stable internet connection.Having a Blu-ray works amazing on camping trips in the RV. Just pop it into the player and we can watch some Star Wars before bed!

I bought the first two seasons in 4k. This series is so much better than the last 3 theatrical Star Wars movies which stunk. There is actually some humor which was sorely missing in the movies. And a lot more imagination and characters that you actually care about. I know some people thought Disney was pricing these releases too high, but I disagree. You are getting the equivalent of time in each series as about 2 movies, and two 4k movies would cost you around $50 these days (at least).

Love the series, but knocked off a star because it was not in DV. D+ streams the series in DV, but discs are HR10 only.

This review is for the quality of picture and sound as well as the case. I’m not reviewing the show. I will say that this the clearest picture and most vibrant sound that I’ve heard and seen of the show. Much better than streaming on Disney+. I am a hardcopy enthusiast and would rather have a 4K disc in my collection, then be able to stream it. This lives up to all of my expectations. Plus the steel case that comes in is highly durable and is beautiful to sit on the shelf.

Love not having to pay a subscription to watch a good show

Knappe serie, die doet denken aan de "Dollar" Trilogie ("A Fistfull of Dollars, "For a few Dollars more" en "The Good the Bad & the Ugly"), maar ook aan de manga "Lone Wolf & Cub". Het verhaal gaat verder, met de verdere avonturen van de Mandlorian en het kind Groku.

Arrived very fast, and a fantastic second series. Now we want the rest Disney!

La serie está excelente, le puse 4 estrellas porqué venía rota una patita donde se agarra el disco. Lo bueno es que se sigue sosteniendo sin que se desprenda. La temporada 2 viene con audio y subtítulos en español. El producto llegó en el día indicado.
