Beautiful ceramics stamp
I used this stamp for my ceramics pieces. I use corn starch to keep it from sticking to the mold. It came right off and left a beautiful pine cone. I love this stamp and will definitely use it again.

Don't give up - suddenly you'll get the hang of it and love it
I washed it and oiled it well when received but when I started to use it, it still stuck and was difficult to use. I 'quit' twice and wanted to walk away but I kept at it. By trial and error I found just the right amount of oil, and just the right texture of dough. Once those two things came together it went quickly and I loved the cookies. They were different and got a lot of compliments.

Love the design, but not so much the construction
The mold is made from bamboo, which is fine, but the routing (milling) of the mold is very rough. I like the size and design very much, too. It appears that it was finished with some kind of spray-on wood finish - probably poly. Normally, molds like this are left unfinished, which I would prefer. I recently bought another one that was made from hardwood and very finely milled to be very smooth inside and left unfinished. The mediocre milling of the mold made it more difficult to use - dough tends to stick inside.

Easy to use after a little learning curve.
Great quality. Made a special gift for friends as a mold or cookies.

Worked very well - pleased!
I was worried the dough would stick - but it worked very well!Helpful to know to use 55-60g or dough per line one, so you don’t have to worry about scraping excess away.I dusted the press with flour before each new dough ball, pressed it in well, and then to remove just used a little espresso spoon to slightly pull one lower corner up. Once I was able to pull it out a little, I just pulled the cookie out of the press with my hands. Kept a great shape.Important to freeze the cookies for about 30-45mins before baking to hold the shape better.I was pleasantly surprised how well this worked!

Cookie Mold
I Absolutely love this cookie mold. It took me a few times using before I realized it is best to flour the mold before putting the cookie dough in. Turned out beautiful!
