Smoked sea salt was very tasty

Good

The aroma and color are similar, but the grain size of this "fine" is maybe 3x bigger than in competing Viva Doria and San Francisco Salt Company brands. It's a bit cheaper, but considering most people will be using this as a finishing or table salt instead of a cooking salt, the grain size matters. Finer grain equals more saltiness and more smokiness per milligram of sodium. I'll use it up in the kitchen, but when it's time to restock, I'll go back to paying a few dollars more for a 2lb bag of one other brands mentioned.

It smells like burning trash, it’s nasty, don’t waste your money on this product. I don’t know if Hickory smoked is any better but I sure wish I had bought that instead because this sucks! Instant headache when I opened the package from the smell! NASTY, NASTY, NASTY and no returns.

Loved the smoky flavor of the salt. Great for using in my canning recipes. Will be ordering again.

The price was pretty reasonable and the flavor was pretty good. I will be trying some of the other smoked salts as well.

Upon opening the product, I couldn't get over how wonderful it smells right out of the bag! The smokey smell is quite potent, so I had high hopes for its flavor, and it did not disappoint! I added it to a steak, and you could definitely taste the smoke from the salt, which is absolutely wonderful since otherwise it's much too cold to be cooking outside on the grill! The salt itself is also quite attractive, and the bag is resealable.

Very course salt and the smoke flavor could be better.
