The media could not be loaded.  I want to say first off, this webcam is really nice and I think it's great for the price. I bought this webcam because I wanted to get the Logitech brand webcam, but I dislike how expensive the prices are on Amazon due to the pandemic, plus it's always sold out in Best Buy.So I'm going to break down the review into separate parts.1) The Packaging.I just wanted to say, I found it odd that the packaging is just a plain blue box, with no pictures of the webcam. It lists all of the possibilities it can do, like livestream, online lectures, AI Face Recognition, etc. I don't know if it can do all of that, I only got it for online classes use and screen-recording my art progress. It comes with the webcam itself, a User Manual and a webcam cloth to clean the webcam if it gets dirty. When I touched the webcam it did leave a fingerprint mark but it's not too noticeable for me, and if it bothers you, you can easily wipe it off. The User Manual say if the webcam doesn't work with Skype, you can download the latest version of Skype from the official website.2) The webcam.I really love the webcam! It reminds me a lot of the Logitech webcam I see online that's either sold out or overpriced due to scalpers. If you want to save some money, especially as a student, I'd say get this webcam, it's worth it IMO. It's about the size of my hand. I have a GIGABYTE Aero 17 inch laptop, so it's a pretty big screen. I have no issues propping it up to the top of the laptop screen. It works automatically when I plug into a USB port into my laptop. I have a 720P webcam on the bottom of the Aero 17 which looks up to my nose and I don't like it, I felt like it will look bad for my online classes, but thanks to this webcam, it captures my face with no issues! I also need to look at interpreters when they are signing, so having the webcam on the top of the screen while I look at my interpreters on a wide 17 inch screen will be really helpful. The USB cord connected to the webcam is nice and long, maybe when you want to prop it far away using a tripod or if you need some space on the desk.3) Webcam name change? Ultra Webcam to UNZANO Webcam.I have noticed, I remember that this webcam used to be called "Ultra Webcam FHD 1080p" on the Amazon webpage, even showed pictures with that name. However the name changed to "UNZANO FHD 1080p". I'm not sure why the name changed, but it looks like it's the same webcam, and I bought it from growfast, the seller. I picked up the delivery from Amazon Locker location near me, fast shipping and easy pick up.4) Software I used!So, I will be using Zoom for my college classes, but I haven't been able to try it out with the classes yet. On the packaging it listed Zoom as one of the compatible software, so that's good.I did use OBS Studio. After setting up the program for screen recording, when I plugged in the webcam, OBS Studio found the webcam in the option menu and I picked the option. When the webcam is being in use, a tiny red light will turn on so you will know it's on. The webcam appeared in a tiny corner, and I made sure I have lighting in my room, and I'd say I'm pretty happy with the image quality, much better than the Aero 17's webcam. I managed to screen record both my laptop screen with the webcam in the corner and it recorded everything while I draw, which is nice. Even when I only use the webcam camera, the picture quality looks nice! You can autofocus yourself by manually turning the little webcam knob, however you have to hold the webcam in place while you autofocus, which can be a little frustrating due to the size and it wiggles a bit on the top of the laptop screen, but it's not too bad IMO.5) Can prop it in a Tripod! (If you have one) I used Sunpak FlexPodDX.So, I have a spare tripod I use for my camera, the tripod is called "Sunpak FlexPodDX". I decided to see if the webcam can prop on it in case I don't want my webcam on the top of the laptop screen, and to my surprise, it fits nice and firm on the tripod! I have to remove a black screw on the top of the tripod so the webcam can be inserted all the way, which is a nice plus!6) 8 Minute 41 second VideoSo, I felt like just pictures of the webcam isn't enough. How are you going to know the video quality!?! So yeah, I set up OBS Studio and did a quick little drawing test. I rerecorded the video several times and this is the best one I could make. Sorry if I stumble on words, I'm a little camera shy and not used to recording video while I draw, it's a new experience for me and I'm trying to improve on it. I hope that both my pictures, video and this typed review will be extra helpful for you on deciding a webcam, whenever it's for chatting with friends/family, online classes, teaching, or making videos for Youtube/Vimeo/social media. The media could not be loaded.  Edit3: Been about 3-4 days now, zero issues with the new camera. Updated to 5 stars again. Works perfect, no weird anything. Support was very helpful.I recommend this camera for 2048x1536 resolution! Makes my Prusa 3d print timelapse amazing!Edit2: Got my 2nd camera today, flawless, no issues. However the first one was ok too, so I'll update in a few days if it's still working. The quality is great, it just had that weird circle. I really hope it stays perfect, I really like this camera! The manual focus is nice, I can hone in on my 3d print (I use this for my 3d printer timelapse). It actually works in octoprint too, full 2048x1536 resolution (in /boot/octoprint.txt, uncomment the resolution portion, change to 2048x1536 and also remove the -f 10 (just leave the resolution size). That made my webcam appear in octoprint and record in full HD.Edit1: I found an email address on a card inside the product, I emailed them and got a response today! They said they were sorry about the bad product, and they will send another. It shipped already, and should be here in a few days. Pretty decent support actually, no hassle, just emailed them and they were very understanding. I'll update this to 5 stars when I get my new camera and make sure that works 100% as expected.This was an awesome camera. Manual focus, HD video, easy to use. But they keyword here is WAS.However, not even 24 hours having it, I started getting this huge black circle. It's inside the camera. I cannot clean or clear it. Defective within 24 hours, not a great sign for me.If you need support, email the email address that the card in the box came with, they will help!

This camera is great, and I would definitely buy again. I did run into one issue and I have to believe the issue is in Skype Windows 10 and not this camera, but I wanted to mention it here. Every piece of software I tested this camera on worked especially if it was a regular windows program, but the Windows 10 Store version of Skype had trouble. It kept reporting that the camera was in use by another program (which it was not). I booted cleanly and tried the Windows 10 permissions settings and many other troubleshooting methods, none worked. Other users of Skype windows 10 edition with other brands of cameras noticed the same thing. The answer for me (and for them) was to install Skype for Windows (not from the Windows 10 store) and that worked flawlessly. My biggest concern is that when they stop making that version and go strictly to the Windows Store version that this will be a problem.Having said all of that, this camera was EXCELLENT in every other piece of software I tested it on: OBS, Skype for Windows (not Windows 10 Store), and a few other applications. The framerate was really really good, the image quality really good. I am very happy and would buy again. The only reason i mentioned the above issue is so that other people might find it and find the solution, like I did. Just download the non-store version of skype.
