for Citizen Eco-Drive 295-5 Rechargeable Battery Capacitor

This rechargeable battery brought my 11 year old Citizen watch back to life after it was losing about an hour per day, even setting in the sun by the window. Make sure the little gold colored tab on the back of the battery goes into the slot on the movement where it makes its connection. The watch immediately started running as the battery came with a decent charge to get things going. I checked the accuracy the next day and it's running perfect. Highly recommend.

This batter was not the same as my original capacitor that came out of my watch. I advise looking closely at the copper prong on the bottom and make sure it matches.

Bought the wrong battery! It’s meant for a Citizen Ecodrive, but I’ve used it in my 18yr old Casio Edifice after a little finesse fitting!

Fits, works. Be sure to observe how the *original* capacitor is oriented. I took a picture before removal, then used that to orient this replacement. Note that the label (identification) may be *different*: they were rotated about a quarter-turn between the original and replacement. Unlike a regular replacement battery, which is rotation-symmetric, the exact orientation of this capacitor is *important* because the small metal tab reaches under the movement plate and makes contact with another electrode (apparently).

This re-chargable battery is an exact replacement for the original battery in my 22 year old Citizen Eco-Drive watch. The new battery has been working great for several weeks now. I highly recommend, just make sure you get the battery number off your old battery before ordering this battery.
